JKCET Application Form 2017

JKCET 2017 Application Form will be available on the official website of JKBOPEE i.e. Candidates can fill the form between February 27, 2017 till April 3, 2017. An application fee of INR 800 must be paid to complete the registration process. It can be paid through either online or offline mode.

Before filling Application Form of JKCET 2017, candidates must make sure to fulfill JKCET 2017 Eligibility Criteria. Applicants for JKCET must be a resident of J&K and should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board. Candidates appearing in the qualifying Exam are also eligible to apply.

JKCET 2017 will be held on May 28, 2017. Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test is held each year to admit students to various engineering/ medical courses in the state of J&K. It is organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE). JKCET Admit Card is expected to release in April 2017.

How to fill JKCET 2017 Application Form?

JKCET Application Form 2017 can be filled between February 27- April 3, 2017. Candidates can visit the ooficial website of JKCET 2017 and fill the application form. They can register for Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test using their email Id and contact number. The application fee should be paid through Debit card, Credit card and E-challan. Candidates must upload his scanned photograph and signature/thumb impression to complete the form-filling process. The step-by-step registration process is given below:


STEP 1- Registration

Before filling JKCET 2017 application form, an applicant has to register online on the official website of JKBOPEE. After the process of registration is complete, candidates receive a unique application number. This unique application number, along with the Date of Birth of the candidate is required to Login for future processes.

Given below are the steps to register for JKCET 2017:

  1. Visit the official website of JKBOPEE i.e
  2. Click on “Common Entrance Test 2017” link
  3. Enter all the required details carefully and then click on Submit button
  4. On successful completion of the registration process, a unique Application Number is generated

STEP 2- Payment of Application Fee

After successful registration and application form filling, application fee of INR 800 should be paid. The fee can be paid via either online or offline mode. Online Payment can be done through HDFC Integrated Payment Gateway. Offline Payment of JKCET Application fee can be done through e-challan of J&K Bank or HDFC Bank. 

STEP 3- Fill JKCET 2017 Application Form

Registration for JKCET 2017 can be done through online mode only. On successful submission of the Application form, a provisional registration slip is generated. This slip contains all the details of an applicant along with unique application number. It is required for future JKCET 2017 admission process. Candidates have to fill the following details in JKCET 2017 Application Form:

  1. Name of the Candidate (In block letters)
  2. Father’s Name (In block letters)
  3. Date of Birth (DOB) - You have to enter Date, Month and Year. It must be as per English calendar. The DOB in the application form must be same as mentioned in Matriculation certificate.
  4. Category- The candidates are required to mention the category they belong.

STEP 4- Upload Images

Scanned images of photo, signature and left thumb impression should be uploaded. Scanned copies of certificates and scanned image of e-challan copy (Required only if you have submitted application fee via offline mode) is also required. Applicants need to follow the below instructions regarding uploading of documents:

  • The background of the photograph must be light in color.
  • A candidate has to upload a scanned image of his or her photograph in JPG/JPEG format.
  • The size of the photograph must be less than 500 KB.
  • The size of Signature/Thumb impression must be less than 200 KB.
  • The photograph of the candidate must be snapped on or after January 01, 2017.
  • A candidate has to hold a placard indicating his or her name and date of taking photograph. Both the details should be clear and readable.
  • Name and Date written on the photograph is not allowed.
  • The name of candidate shown in the photograph must be same as written in the Application Form.
  • A photograph of the candidate must be without Cap or Goggles. However, a photograph of the candidate with Spectacles is allowed.

STEP 5- Final Submission of the JKCET 2017 Application Form

After successful completion of this process, complete details of the candidate is displayed on screen. Candidates should check all the details carefully. To edit or modify any details, click on Modify Button. Following Application Form Filling, the JKCET 2017 Application form is generated. Click on Submit Button. Then, click Logout Button to successfully complete the registration process.

Applicants have to pay INR 800 as JKCET 2017 application fee. The fee must be paid before filling the application form. It is mandatory for all the students to pay the JKCET 2017 application fee and no fee waiver is given to reserved category students. The payment of JKCET 2017 Application fees can be done either in online or offline mode.

You can pay application fees through HDFC Integrated Payment Gateway. A candidate can use either Debit Card or Credit Card to pay the fees online. Steps for the online payment are mentioned below:

  1. Open the official website of the JKCET 2017
  2. Login by filling the details asked correctly i.e. the Application number and password
  3. Select the payment mode i.e. online payment
  4. Click on payment gateway i.e. credit card/debit card
  5. Fill the asked credentials correctly i.e. the card number/customer ID
  6. Verify the details and Click on Pay Now.

Offline Mode

You can deposit the application fees in any branch of J&K Bank or HDFC Bank. For this, a candidate needs to download e-challan of J&K Bank or HDFC Bank. Steps for the offline payment are mentioned below:

  1. Open the official website of the JKCET 2017.
  2. Login by filling the details asked correctly i.e. Application number and password.
  3. Select the payment mode i.e. offline payment
  4. Download the copy of the e-challan provided on the website.
  5. Fill in the details asked correctly.
  6. Submit the e-challan along with the fee in the designated branch of HDFC Bank of India.

Important Documents for JKCET 2017 Application Form 

The list of essential documents required for JKCET 2017 application process is given below:-

  1. Scanned Image of Photograph (JPEG/JPG Format, Less than 500KB)
  2. Scanned Image of Signature (JPEG/JPG Format, Less than 200KB)
  3. Scanned Image of Thumb-Impression (JPEG/JPG Format, Less than 200KB)
  4. Scanned Copy of Mark sheets
  5. Scanned Copy of Permanent Resident Certificate
  6. Scanned Copy of Reserved Category Certificate

The Scanned Copy of Reserved Category Certificate is to be uploaded by candidates who have claimed benefit of any reserved category.The candidates claiming the benefit of the sports have to submit their sports certificates to the sports council. The submission of the certificates is to done within the prescribed date.
