JEECE 2018 RESULT & COUNSELLING
STATE LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
JEECE 2018 Result will be declared in the last week of May 2018. The result will be announced by JCECE Board. Candidates can view the result on the official website, www.jceceb.nic.in.
JEECE (Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination) will provide admission to intereseted candidates in B.E/B.Tech courses. Candidates will have to bring a list of documents for verification during the counselling.

Applicants are requested to be updated about the dates of JEECE 2018 so that they are able to check the result on time. The dates of online application, admit card, result declaration and counselling are given below:

The board will conduct JEECE 2018, evaluate the answer sheets and declare the result by 4h week of May and the same will be uploaded on the board’s official website. Thereafter candidates can download the result.
Candidates have to check JEECE 2018 Result on the official website. No one will receive their rank card via post or e-mail.

Candidates are suggested to preserve extra copies of the score card for further reference till the admission process is over.
Rules for rechecking / re-evaluation of Answer sheets: The machine- gradable answer sheets are evaluated with great care and are repeatedly scrutinized. There is no provision for re-checking / re-evaluation of Answer sheets. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
JEECE 2018 Result contains the Ranks & Names of all the qualified candidates in the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Exam 2018. Generally, the officials will release the rank cards for the qualified candidates within 10 days after the declaration of the JCECE Results 2018. Aspirants can download the rank card through online mode. The rank card will not be sent through post.
Candidates who have acquired the qualifying marks are eligible to attend the counselling process. The merit list is prepared by the authorities based on the marks obtained by Candidates in Jharkhand Common Entrance Competitive Exam 2018.
JEECE Board will display JEECE 2018 Answer Key on their official website after the results. Applicants are informed that answer key is evaluated with extreme care. Rechecking of answer sheet will not be considered.
JEECE Result 2018 is declared in the form of merit list containing the list of qualified candidates along with their ranks. On the basis of rank secured in JEECE 2018, students are invited for counselling.
Candidate needs to be aware of the process of merit list preparation. Detailed information about preparation of merit list is given below for reference:
1. The board will prepare combined merit list, as well as category-wise merit list (wherever applicable) of candidates. A list of appeared candidates in order of merit based on the score obtained in the examination will be prepared by the board and used for the purpose of allotment of seats.
2. In case of two or more than two candidates obtaining equal marks in JEECE 2018, the inter-se-merit of such candidates shall be determined in order of preference as follows:
JCECE 2018 Cut Off is the minimum mark that a candidate must secure in Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Exam in order to be eligible for admission. Only those candidates will be considered by authorities whose score reaches the minimum qualifying mark for admission. Qualified applicants will get admission in various Under Graduate Engineering Courses & many others in different Institutes & Colleges located in Jharkhand State. Therefore, refer to the below table to have an idea about the expected cut off marks for JEECE 2018.

Candidates will be called for the counselling round on the basis of rank secured by them in entrance exam. Candidates are required to pay the counselling fee to take part in counselling. At the time of document verification, candidates are required to produce their original certificates. If a candidate fails to produce the original documents, then his/her admission will be cancelled.
Counselling would be conducted by the board. Qualified candidates are advised to read the counselling information guidelines carefully.

JEECE 2018 Counselling will be conducted in 2 rounds. The second round is optional. It will be conducted only if seats remain vacant.
1st Round of Counselling:
Successful candidates will be called for counselling as per Merit rank. Information regarding date of counselling, time and place will be given through leading newspapers of Jharkhand State as well as Board’s website. During counselling, candidate is allowed to choose Course/Stream and Institute on Merit-Cum-Choice basis, only after scrutiny of all the required original certificates/documents and satisfying his/her identity.
2nd Round of Counselling:
If seats remain vacant even after admission of recommended candidates during the first round of counselling, second round of counselling will be conducted to fill the vacant seats. In this counselling round, Candidates who have been admitted through 1st Round of Counselling are also eligible to participate if they wish to change their course/stream and institute. Other procedure will remain same as mentioned above.
It is essential for successful candidates to produce online Admit card at the time of counselling. Candidates must produce original and self-attested photocopies of the following documents during counselling:
If any successful candidate does not appear in counselling or does not produce all required documents, his/her candidature will be rejected automatically.
Qualified candidates are required to pay counselling fee for attending the same. Candidates of all categories who have been called for counselling will have to submit challan / IPO to participate in the counselling process.
