IPU CET Result is generally released 15 days after the exam is conducted. The date of declaration of IPU CET Result varies course-wise, depending upon the IP University Entrance Exam Date. IPU CET 2017 Result is expected to be released between April 2017- June 2017 for all courses.
Here are some quick facts about IPU CET Result:
The counselling process is expected to begin from June 5, 2017. All selected candidates will be allotted seats in GGSIPU and its affiliated college as per their scores. May 16, 2017 – IPU CET Results 2017 released for MA Mass Communication at www.ipu.ac.in.
May 15, 2017 – IPU CET Results 2017 released for program code 110,111, 126, 141, 146 at www.ipu.ac.in.
May 01, 2017 – IPU CET Results 2017 released for MA English at www.ipu.ac.in.
April 21, 2017 – IPU CET Results 2017 annouced on the official site for the program code 107, 108, 109,112, 115, 116, 118, 120, 123, 128, 129.

B.Tech. / M.Tech. / Professional Program CET
IPU CET 2017 merit list for the candidates securing equal marks in the entrance for B.Tech. / M.Tech. / Professional Programme is determined by the following criteria:
For B.Tech. / M.Tech. (Dual Degree)
Candidates scoring higher marks in Mathematics shall be ranked higher.
In case of equal aggregate score and equal score in Mathematics separately then the candidate with higher marks in Physics is ranked higher.
If the tie persists then, the candidate who is older in age is given a higher rank.
For B.Tech. Bio Technology Program
For M.Tech. Program the tie breaker works on the basis of age i.e. candidates older in age shall rank higher.
For Master of Science (Environment Management) Program
Candidates with higher marks in Environment Science will be given a higher rank
If the candidate scores equal marks in aggregate as well as Environment Science separately, then candidate scoring more marks in Chemistry is ranked higher.
If the tie still exists, then the candidate older in age is given higher rank.
For Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics (BPO), BAMS, BHMS, BASLP, B.Sc. (MLT) and B.Sc Nursing
Higher rank is given to the candidates with higher marks in Biology
The candidate with higher marks in Chemistry shall be ranked higher in case of equal marks in Physics Chemistry and Biology as well as Biology separately.
If tie persists, then candidate older in age is considered for higher rank
The order of preference to prepare the inter se merit for candidates scoring equal marks in the Common Entrance Test for PGMC are as follows:
The candidate with higher aggregate marks after considering the marks obtained in three professional examinations of MBBS is placed higher in the merit list
If the tie still exists, then candidate older in age is given a higher rank
The order of preference for the tie breaker for the preparation of the SSMC merit list is as follows:

Ques. Is there a rounding off of percentage of marks in qualifying marks?
Ans. No, rounding off of percentage of marks of qualifying examination while deciding the basic eligibility of any candidate for admission e.g. if the candidate obtains 49.99% in his/her qualifying examination, then it will not be rounded off to 50%.

Ques. Do I need to submit any document if pursuing course through distance learning mode?
Ans. In case of students who have passed the qualifying examination through distance/ open education system of any recognized university/ board/institution, the necessary documentary evidence related to location of his/her study centre i.e. study centre proof, certificate from the university/board imparting open/distance education certifying the location of study centre must be submitted at the time of verification of documents.
Ques. How do I get password for logging in?
Ans. After paying the Counselling Participation Fee of INR 1,000/- during the process of online registration you will generate your own password. Candidates are advised to keep the password that they have created, confidential to them till the end of the counseling process. They can change the password after creating. Password is very important for participating in online process. Sharing of password can result in misuse by somebody else, leading to even exclusion of genuine candidate from online process.
Ques. How much time will I be given to join the allotted course?
Ans. Candidates allotted seats will be required to join the allotted college/course within stipulated time from the date of allotment as mentioned in the schedule.

Ques. How many seats are reserved for Delhi and Outside Delhi Region?
Ans. Generally, 85% of the sanctioned intake shall be allocated for Delhi Region and 15% of the sanctioned intake shall be allocated for Outside Delhi Region. However, in case of Self Financing Institutes, sanctioned intake also includes 10% Management Quota seats (if offered). Certain institutes established by Central Govt. and Minority Institutions etc.
