IIFT Exam 2018- Application Form, Notification
IIFT (Indian Institute of Foreign Trade) conducts entrance exam for candidates seeking admission in full-time MBA in International business. Candidates can fill application form in online as well as offline mode. Candidates can fill IIFT 2018 Application Form will be available from September 3, 2017. The offline application form can be purchased form designated post office/ IIFT counter. Last date to apply for IIFT 2018 is October 9, 2017.
IIFT 2018 is scheduled in the month of November-2018. The entrance test comprises questions from, English comprehension, Quantitative Analysis, Logical Reasoning and General Knowledge. The duration of the test is 2 hours in which candidates have 123 multiple choice questions.
There is no prescribed age limit to apply for IIFT 2018. Indian as well as Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply. IIFT 2018 Results will be announced in the month of December-2017. Shortlisted candidates are required to participate in the selection process which includes 3 stages: Essay Writing, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

IIFT 2018 Exam Dates
Candidates can apply online or offline for IIFT 2018 till first week of September-2017. International applicants, NRIs, PIOs are not required to appear for the entrance test. They can apply for admission to MBA (International Business) till February – 2017 on the basis of their latest GMAT score.

IIFT 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must check the eligibility criteria for IIFT 2018 before they proceed to register for the entrance test. Application Forms are subject to rejection at any stage if the candidate is not able to satisfy all the criteria set by IIFT. Given below is the eligibility criteria for IIFT 2018.
Indian and Foreign National Students are eligible to apply in IIFT.
- Candidate should have a graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university
- The minimum aggregate required in graduation is 55%.
- Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply. They have to submit their result/degree before October 7, 2018.
There is no age limit prescribed by the IIFT for admission to MBA- International Business.
IIFT 2018 Application Form
Candidates can fill IIFT 2018 Application Form from September 3, 2017. To avoid last minute rush, candidates are advised to apply well before the deadline. Application forms are available in both online and offline mode. Candidates must keep the required documents such as personal details, scanned images of photograph and signature etc. Given below are the steps to fill online and offline application form:

- Click on ‘Apply Now’
- Complete the registration process by filling in required information like name, email id and mobile number.
- Login to the candidates’ portal with the help of login ID and Password acquired during registration
- Upload scanned images of photograph and signature
- Pay the requisite application fee
- Candidates need to send the printout of duly filled application form to the ‘Section officer (GSD), Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, B-21, Qutub Institutional Area, New Delhi- 110016
- Candidates can get the IIFT 2018 Application Form from the IIFT counter/ Post Office
- Fill the complete application form carefully
- Candidates have to make payment through DD drawn in favor of ‘Indian Institute of Foreign Exchange, payable at New Delhi’
- Candidates have to send the application form and demand draft to the ‘Section officer (GSD), Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, B-21, Qutub Institutional Area, New Delhi- 110016. Reserved Category Candidates (SC/ ST/ PH) also need to send the required documents along with the application form.
IIFT 2018 Application Fee
Application Form can only be submitted after the successful payment of fee. Candidates can make payment online as well as offline as per their choice. General category students have to pay INR 1550/-. Candidates who belong to reserved category would get relaxation and have to pay INR 775/-. Candidates can make the online payment via Credit Card or Debit Card. They can also submit the Demand Draft along with the documents to the Section Officer.

IIFT 2018 Admit Card
Candidates can get their IIFT 2018 Admit Card by two modes. They can visit the official website to download admit card from 3rd week of November, 2018. Admit Cards will also be dispatched via post. Applicants can also download the admit card from the official site using their login credentials. It act as a gateway and an ID proof. Candidates failing to carry the admit card will not allowed entry to the examination hall.

IIFT 2018 Exam Centers
IIFT 2018 is going to be conducted across 20 cities. Candidates are required to select the exam city at the time of filling IIFT 2018 Application Form. The institutes reserves the right to add or delete any exam center. Applicants have the option to change the selected center by paying an additional fee of INR 500/-. However, the option to change center will be available till the first week of November-2017.
The shortlisted candidates are required to appear for the selection process at 7 major cities: Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai.
IIFT 2018 Exam Pattern
IIFT 2018 Entrance Test will be Pen- Paper based test. The examination paper will cover English Comprehension, General Knowledge & Awareness, Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Analysis. The question paper will consist of 125 questions of the objective type and the total time duration is 120 minutes. Each section will contain different marks ranging from 0.75 to 1.00. Answer sheets (OMR Answer sheets) will be given to the candidates to mark the answers. IIFT 2018 Selection Process
Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the written test are called to participate in the IIFT Selection Process. The selection procedure for admission to MBA (International Business) involves Essay Writing, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
Essay Writing: In this round candidates have to write an essay based on some topic of General or business affairs. It aims to test candidates’ writing skills and conceptual knowledge about the topics. The average duration of this round is 20 minutes and the length of a well-defined essay is usually 300 words.
Group Discussion: For Group discussion, qualified candidates from the previous rounds are divided into groups of 10-12 participants. Candidates are given a topic related to current or business affairs. The duration of the GD usually varies. Candidates’ ability to take initiative, ability to effectively communicate their ideas are generally some qualities that the panelists lookout for in this round.
Personal Interview: The Personal Interview round is one on one personal round where the panelists adjudge the candidates on the basis of their persona and ability to stay focused under pressure. The usual duration of PI round in 10-15 minutes.
