IBPS RRB 2017 SYLLABUS
NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
IBPS RRB Exam is divided into 5 subjects. It is very important for a candidate to prepare properly for all the subjects. A candidate has to clear both IBPS RRB 2016 Preliminary Examination and IBPS 2016 Mains Examination in order to get selected for the post of Office Assistant. IBPS RRB 2016 Online Examination is conducted in the month of November, 2016.
Both of the IBPS RRB 2016 Examinations are conducted in a Computer-Based Test format and are of objective type. It is very important for each and every appearing candidate to know the IBPS RRB Syllabus of both prelims and mains to prepare properly for the exam. A candidate can attempt questions from each section either in Hindi or in English in IBPS RRB 2016 Exam, except Hindi and English Language section.
IBPS RRB Exam is conducted only in online mode. Only objective type questions are asked in IBPS RRB Exam. IBPS RRB Exam Pattern differs for Scale I, II, III and Office Assistant posts and the medium of IBPS RRB Exam is bilingual i.e. it is conducted in both Hindi and English Languages. As per IBPS RRB Exam Pattern, the Preliminary Examination has 80 multiple choice questions that carry 80 marks in total.
The total time duration to complete the prelims examination questions is 45 minutes. The candidates need to obtain minimum IBPS RRB Cut off marks in both the subjects to clear the preliminary exam. Only if the candidate clears this exam, he/she is allowed to appear for the IBPS RRB Mains examination. There is a provision of negative marking for all the wrong attempts made by a candidate.
In IBPS RRB Mains Examination, a total of 200 questions is asked from all the subjects. Number of questions from each subject is 40. The total time allotted to solve these 200 questions is 2 hours.
A candidate should be aware of IBPS RRB syllabus in order to prepare well for the common written exam. According to the IBPS RRB 2016 Exam Pattern, questions are asked from different topics and sections in the exam. IBPS RRB Syllabus covers all the important topics of each section from which questions are framed.
IBPS RRB Syllabus helps the candidate to set a preparation strategy with which he/she can cover all the topics. The Syllabus of IBPS RRB acquaints the candidates with all the topics and sub-topics as well that are covered in the IBPS RRB Exam. A candidate must go through the set IBPS RRB Syllabus before starting their preparation for IBPS RRB Exam.
Questions in IBPS RRB are framed from total 5 sections, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge, English Language/ Hindi Language. It is up to the choice of a candidate as he/she can attempt all the sections either in English or Hindi except the English and the Hindi language papers.
The IBPS RRB Preliminary Examination and Mains Examination are conducted for Officer Scale I and Office Assistant (Multipurpose). The Single Online Examination is conducted for Officers Scale II and III. IBPS RRB 2016 Interview is conducted for the posts of Officers Scale I, II and III. Candidate should prepare well for the exam by covering all the topics and sections included in the RRB exam.
