Candidates may face the issue of server down while checking with their respective results as most of the applicants would be logging in to view the results simultaneously. This would create massive load on their server. However, after a few hours, applicants would be able to view the result.
Both the score cards Pre and Mains are the most necessary documents needed by candidates to appear in recruitment process of IBPS Clerk. It would be issued online for the candidates who have cleared the examination on the official website of IBPS.

IBPS calculates the scores obtained by candidates using normalization procedure to declare IBPS Clerk Result. The normalization of scores is done using equi-percentile method.
The process of equating the scores on the basis of level of difficulty of questions set is called the process of normalizing the scores. The exam is held in multiple sessions and each shift has a different question paper. Therefore, it is impossible to maintain the same level of difficulty for every shift.
Due to variation in level of difficulty, IBPS does normalization of scores due to equate the scores obtained by the candidates. After normalization, final scores are rounded off up to 2 decimal digits.

Selection of the candidates for the recruitment of Clerk Cadre is held in 3 steps- IBPS Clerk Pre exam, IBPS Clerk Mains exam and the final merit list. Depending upon the vacancies, shortlisted candidates will be provisionally allotted to any one of the participating organizations.
Then they will be shortlisted on the basis of merit list, prepared according to the reservation policy. In case, if 2 or more candidates scores the same marks then the candidate older in age will be preferred.
A provisional allotment list will be drawn out of in each category as per the number of vacant seats, however, it will not guarantee recruitment. There are certain eligibility criteria that must be fulfilled and the final allotment will be done on merit basis. Candidates must get their documents verified and ensure all the other eligibility conditions are fulfilled.
The number of vacancies will be filled according to the merit and IBPS will not be responsible if the vacant seats have been filled. The guidelines for age relaxations, reserved category, etc. set by Government of India will be kept in mind during provisional allotment of seats.
Own Merit Candidates of reserved category will be adjusted against the vacancies of unreserved category and will be given provisional allotment first treating them nationally as reserved candidates as per their preference of Participating Banks. Such candidate will not be adjusted against a reserved post, however, will be treated as if he/she is a reserved category candidate for the purpose of allotment of seat.
If two or more candidates obtain same marks, allotment will be done on the basis of the Date of birth of candidate(s).
Ans. Firstly, candidates will have to visit the official website of IBPS i.e. ibps.in and click on the link provided at the header defining the same. Login using Roll Number/Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth.
Ans. In place of Password, Date of Birth can be used to access IBPS Clerk Result. But password can be retrieved by clicking on forgot password and same will be sent to the candidate’s registered email ID and mobile number.
Ans. This happens when candidates enter wrong login credentials. Enter the correct login details to access the account.
Ans. Scores in IBPS Clerk is calculated using equi-percentile method. The process of arriving at the scores is explained above under Normalization of Scores.
