DU LLB 2018 PATTERN & SYLLABUS
NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
DU LLB 2018 notification and exam pattern will be released on the official website- www.ducampus.in in May 2018. DU LLB 2018 will be a pen and paper based test i.e. mode of exam is offline.
DU LLB 2018 is a state level offline test that will be conducted in the third week of June 2018. It is a gateway for aspirants seeking admissions into LLB programs offered by the various affiliated institutes.
DU LLB 2018 Exam Pattern will give all candidates an idea about what should be expected in the exam. The details about various aspects related to the law exam like mode of the exam, time duration of the exam, type of questions that will be asked in the test, marking scheme, total number of questions, etc. are stated in the table that follows:

DU LLB 2018 is a conventional pen and paper based test. The question paper will be available in the English language only. It will comprise175 objective questions to be solved within 120 minutes. The maximum marks a candidate can score in DU LLB 2018 are 700. Students must select the answer that seems the most accurate out of 4 alternative options given. They must note that negative marking will be applicable in this test.
The question paper will be segregated into 2 sections- General Knowledge and Aptitude and Legal Awareness. Aspirants can choose to attempt any section in the order they want. They will be required to mark their answers on an OMR sheet. There will be no sectional time limit i.e. no restriction of solving a particular section within a stipulated amount of time.
This section is designed to evaluate the general awareness of the candidate. It will have questions to test aspirant’s proficiency in English language, awareness of ongoing, current events, quantitative aptitude, analytical and logical reasoning. Generally, about 80 questions are asked in this section.
This section will assess the applicant’s knowledge in the legal field. Questions regarding political science and events, constitution, rights and duties, amendments, etc. will be asked. Around 90-95 questions will be asked in this segment.

Applicants must know the marking scheme in order to decide how to attempt the questions in the law entrance test. There has been no change in the marking scheme of DU LLB 2018 entrance examination and it is the same as it was for the year 2017. It should be noted that negative marking will be applicable for the test. The marking scheme is given as follows:
The syllabus for DU LLB 2018 will be based on 10+2 or higher secondary school level knowledge. It will be as decided by Delhi University for every section. Students must make sure that they follow right syllabus to prepare well for the exam. The section wise syllabus is given as follows:
The aim of this section is to determine the general thought process of candidates. It will assess aspirant’s command over English language, their awareness in current events and mathematical aptitude (upto class 10) as also logical reasoning ability. The second section of DU LLB will evaluate candidate’s knowledge in the legal field. Aspirants must focus on the topics given in this section as they have more weightage in the exam. The important topics are mentioned below:
