DMRC RECRUITMENT 2018 SELECTION PROCESS
NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE/OFFLINE TEST
DMRC 2017 Selection Process comprises three stages primarily written exam, group discussion and personal interview. Candidates have to qualify all these stages to be recruited for the desired post. There stages in the DMRC Selection Process vary for different posts.
DMRC written exam is scheduled on different dates for different posts. It is conducted in two sessions on the same day i.e. Paper I and Paper II with objective type questions. Paper I tests the aptitude and technical skills of the candidate while Paper II tests the language (English) skills of the candidate.
The Group Discussion round tests the whether the candidate has certain personality traits and skills that are desired for the particular post. It helps to test verbal communication and non- verbal behavior of the candidate. The jury gets to know about the cooperation ability and decision making ability of the candidate.
The personality test or interview is a questioning round which is the final step for selection process for DMRC. The questions asked in DMRC interview range from questions about Educational Qualification, Extra-curricular activities, Personal life, work experience, outlook on contemporary issues etc.
Candidates are recruited to various executive or non-executive posts through DMRC. There are a total of 3428 vacancies offered by DMRC with maximum vacancies for maintainer post (non-executive) i.e. 1393 posts. The details of the selection process followed for different posts is given below:

The DMRC Recruitment to the post of Station Controller/Train Operator (NE 01) and Customer Relations Assistant (CRA) is a four stage process. It is a non-executive post which has the maximum applications per year. The selection process to be recruited to this post is a 3 stage process. The candidates have to qualify all the stages given below with minimum scores given in the DMRC Cutoff to be recruited to this post:
The Account Asstt. is a non-executive post offered by DMRC. The selection process for recruitment to the given post is a two stage process. There is no interview for this post. The candidate is recruited to this post on the basis of their performance in the stages of the selection process given below:
DMRC has released maximum vacancies for the post of Maintainer i.e. 1393 vacancies. Candidates have to qualify each stage of the selection process to be recruited to the given post and the required specification. There will be no interview for this post. The DMRC Recruitment to the post of Stenographer is a three stage process. There is no interview for this post. The candidates who want to be recruited to the desired post have to score marks equivalent to or more than the minimum scores given in the DMRC Cutoff.
