BHU LLB Admission Test 2017 will be conducted on May 22, 2017 by Banaras Hindu University for admission to five-year integrated law programs. A candidate has to appear for BLAT Examination in order to get admission in BHU BA LLB program. And to appear for BLAT, a candidate must be familiar with the BLAT 2017 Exam Pattern.

It is very important for every appearing candidate to be familiar with the type of questions asked in the BLAT 2017 Examination, marks and marking scheme of BLAT 2017, duration and syllabus of BLAT 2017. In BLAT 2017 Admission Test there is one Paper that carries 150 questions of multiple choice type. A candidate is given 120 minutes i.e. 2 hours duration to solve all the 150 questions asked. No applicant, in any condition, is offered extra time to solve the questions asked in BLAT 2017 Exam.
The total and maximum marks BLAT 2017 Paper carries are 450 marks. The questions are based on various topics including General Awareness and Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude and Mental Ability. The paper also includes multiple choice questions on English comprehension.

A candidate must note that there is negative marking in BLAT 2017 Entrance Test. According to BLAT 2017 Exam Pattern, 3 marks are awarded for each correct answer. While for each wrong answer attempted by the candidate, one mark is deducted. Zero mark is awarded for each un-attempted question in BLAT 2017 Test. So, it is advised that a candidate must attempt only those questions he/she is sure about.
As per BLAT 2017 Exam Pattern, in the entrance test a candidate is asked MCQ type of questions and not the subjective questions. A candidate has to choose one correct option from the given four against each question.
In BLAT 2017 there are total 150 MCQ type questions which are worth 450 marks in total. It is very important for every applicant to note that each wrong attempt made by the candidate results in the deduction of 1 mark as there is the provision of negative marking in the evaluation of BLAT 2017 Score.
According to the set Marking Scheme of BLAT 2017, a candidate gets 3 marks for each correct attempt he/she makes while 1 mark is deducted for each wrong attempt made by an applicant. In case, the candidate leaves any MCQ un-attempted, zero mark is awarded for that un-attempted question. A candidate is supposed to complete the BLAT 2017 Test within the fixed duration of 2 hours only.

Each candidate is given 120 minutes to complete the BLAT 2017 Test. The total duration of BLAT 2017 is 2 hours i.e. 120 minutes only. One has to complete the test of 150 MCQs within this duration only. No extra time is offered to any candidate under any circumstances.
So, a candidate is advised to boost up his/her speed of attempting questions in order to successfully complete all the question asked in BLAT 2017 Test. One should practice well to solve questions by consuming limited minutes so that he/she can attempt all the 150 questions within the given frame of 120 minutes. Which even includes the questions from English Comprehension Passage, so, a candidate must have fast reading and analyzing capability to solve all the questions.
If a candidate gets stuck in one particular question and is not able to solve it than it is advised to leave that particular question and attempt the next question. He/she can solve such a question towards the end of the BLAT 2017 Examination, if there is still some time left in his pocket.
In BLAT 2017, a candidate is asked questions from various topics that are related to his/her course of study as well. However, the topics that are covered in BLAT 2017 Syllabus are very common/ general and can be attempted by a student of any background or area of study.
All the 150 MCQs that are asked in BLAT Paper are framed from these topics only and can be easily solved and so, there is no need of any kind of coaching or training to clear BLAT 2017. A candidate can solve the questions by practicing on its own.

Solving test papers or previous year question paper is a very essential part of the preparation of any Entrance Examination. Merely studying about the subjects from which questions are asked in BLAT 2017 is not sufficient. A candidate must know the depth and level of questions that are being asked in BLAT 2017 Examination.
