NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
AUAT 2018 is tentatively scheduled to be held in the 3rd - 4th week of May. The results of the AUAT 2018 offline test is expected to be released on the official website by the first week of June 2018.
AUAT 2018 would comprise two papers - paper 1 is of one-hour duration while paper 2 would be of three hours duration and would be based on subject of the discipline candidates are seeking admission in.
Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT) is a national level entrance exam conducted for admission into various UG and PG courses offered by the University in Technology, Basic Science, Humanities, Management, and Social Science. Aliah University is located in Kolkata, West Bengal.

AUAT 2018 scorecard is a crucial document that must be produced at the time of counselling cum admission process. The scorecard is valid only for the academic session 2017-18 admissions. Candidates must take the print out of the scorecard for future reference.

The answer key for AUAT 2018 exam would be released on the official website of the Aliah University once the results are announced. Candidates would be able to download the official answer key from the conducting authority’s website 3 to 4 weeks (tentative) after the declaration of results.
Meanwhile, candidates would be able to download the unofficial answer keys published by various coaching institutes. Candidates can use this answer key to check and analyze their performance in the AUAT 2018 exam. Based on the answer key, marking scheme of AUAT 2018 and number of correct responses marked by them, candidates can calculate their expected scores.
The merit list for the AUAT 2018 exam would be prepared by the Aliah University entrance exam conducting authority after final results are declared and answer keys are published. The merit list would be published on the official website and candidates would be able to access there.
The merit list would be prepared based on the performance of the candidate in the exam. Candidates scoring higher marks would be placed higher in order of rankings in the list.
In case of tie even after evaluation and comparison then the ranks will be decided by the tie-breaker mechanism as per the formula prescribed by the Aliah University exam board, Kolkata.
The cut-off of the AUAT 2018 exam would depend upon several factors such as the number of applicants for exam, seats available, the difficulty level of the question paper, marking scheme for that year and other related factors. The cut-off also varies from course to course.
The cut-off is not displayed on the official website. Rather a merit list containing names of candidates qualified in exam by obtaining a certain percentage of marks (as prescribed by exam conducting authority) is put on the website. Candidates are ranked according to their performance in both the paper held as part of AUAT 2018 exam.
AUAT 2018 Counselling cum admission process would after merit list is published. Those candidates who will clear the exam by scoring more than or equal to the cut-off marks after the final round of evaluation would be called for the counselling cum admission process. The counseling would be conducted by the exam conducting authority and the details for it would be published on the official website.
There would be an individual cut off for each course and candidates need to fill separate application for each course for which they are satisfying the cut off criteria as a part of the counseling process.
The counselling would be done in the order of ranks mentioned in the merit list. The final decision in regards to any issue related to the counseling process would rest with the conducting authority and will be deemed final.
