AP EAMCET 2017 is conducted by JNTUK (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada) on behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education). The AP EAMCET 2017 Results is likely to be announced by May 9, 2017. AP EAMCET is scheduled for April 29, 2017.

The AP EAMCET Merit List will be prepared after the declaration of AP EAMCET Results. Candidates can download the AP EAMCET Rank Card from the official website of AP EAMCET. The AP EAMCET Counselling Procedure would be conducted on the basis of merit list prepared by the board
The organizing committee shall declare a preliminary answer key on the same day of the conduct of examination, i.e., April 29, 2017. It is issued by the organizing committee for the reference of candidates to check their responses. The preliminary answer key is however, not the final answer key which is applied by the organizers to evaluate and check the answer sheets of the candidates.
This preliminary answer key can be contested by any candidates in case of any discrepancies. The last date for challenging any response in the AP EAMCET 2017 answer key is May 04, 2017. No challenge received after this deadline will be entertained by the board.
The candidates, in order to qualify in AP EAMCET 2017, should score a minimum of 25% of maximum marks considered while allotting ranks. Any candidate who don’t meet the criteria of qualifying marks, would not be considered for ranking purposes.
However, candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste categories are not required to fulfill the criteria of minimum qualifying marks.
The board will take all the necessary steps for ensuring a transparent and error free process while evaluating and tabulating AP EAMCET 2017 Test Results of candidates and providing corresponding ranks in the AP EAMCET 2017 Merit List.
The rank secured in AP EAMCET 2017 is valid only for admission in the academic session 2017-18. The candidates should obtain the minimum qualifying marks as mentioned above to appear in the rank list. SC/ST category candidates are exempted from the criteria of qualifying marks.
The ranking for AP EAM CET 2017 would be allotted on the basis of combined score calculated by taking 75% weightage of the marks obtained in AP EAMCET 2017 and 25% weightage to the marks obtained in the subjects of the respective groups, i.e., Biology/Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry of the qualifying examination.
There could be cases where two candidates have secured same combined score through the process mentioned in the previous section. In such circumstances, the board will follow a tie break procedure for preparation of merit list. The procedure for tie break varies for Engineering courses and Medical & Agricultural courses. The two procedures, in order of their applicability, are mentioned below.
* For Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders, the weightage of score would be decided by a committee appointed by the competent authority.
Note: The ranking for Architecture would be done by taking weightage of Architectural in equal proportion, Aptitude (Online Exam) - 50% and qualifying examination (10+2 (or) equivalent with Mathematics as compulsory subject) - 50%. The qualifying examination are 10+2 OR 10+3 years Diploma recognizes by the Central/ State Governments OR equivalent. The minimum qualifying marks for Aptitude Test in Architecture is 40 % marks.
The AP EAMCET 2017 Rank Card would be available on the official website of AP EAMCET after the declaration of result. Candidates should download the rank card by logging in to the website with the help of the AP EAMCET 2017 Hall Ticket Number, Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth. The candidate should take few print outs of the same for future reference.
