AIIMS MBBS (AIIMS MEDICAL ENTRANCE EXAM) 2018 PATTERN & SYLLABUS
NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) conducts MBBS entrance exam for undergraduate aspirants who wish to seek admission to MBBS courses. The exam is conducted on national level at specific institutes enlisted under AIIMS.
AIIMS MBBS is conducted only in online mode with time duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes. The question paper comprises 200 multiple choice and reason-assertion questions. It is conducted in two sessions- morning and evening. Check AIIMS MBBS Syllabus
The question paper is set both in English and Hindi. Thus, candidates must state their preferred language while filling AIIMS MMBS 2018 Application form. Moreover, it is a computer based test, therefore, no papers are provided for rough work.
AIIMS MBBS is expected to be held in May 2018 in two sessions: morning and evening, each with duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes. The table below shows all important dates related to AIIMS MBBS including availability of forms, date of exam, result announcement, counselling dates and other process:

The exam pattern of AIIMS MBBS 2018 is such that the question paper will contain 200 multiple choice questions. The questions will be based on topics from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Awareness covered in class 11 and class 12. Distribution of questions in AIIMS MBBS 2018 exam will be as follows:

Against every correct answer, aspirants will be awarded 1 mark whereas for every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted. Besides, no marks are given for any un-attempted questions. The marking pattern of AIIMS MBBS 2018 is as follows:

Note: As per the official booklet of AIIMS, minimum eligible marks for MBBS entrance will be 50 percentile for general category candidates and 40 percentile for SC/ST category candidates.
AIIMS MBBS 2018 paper will comprise multiple choice questions and re-assertion type questions. Out of four options given, select one option which you find is correct. Those who appear for the exam are provided with Optical Response Sheet to mark their answers. Select the appropriate circle given against four options provided for each question. This can be done by clicking on correct answer using virtual keypad.

Syllabus of AIIMS MBBS 2018 will cover topics from Physics, Chemistry, Biology studied in class 11 and class 12. The conducting body will not add anything to this syllabus. Subject-wise syllabus of entrance exam is given in tables below:
