ULSAT 2018 is a qualifying entrance exam for admission to Law courses i.e. B.A. LL.B., B.Com. LL.B., BBA. LL.B., B.Sc. LL.B. (5 years integrated course) offered by University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES)

  • ULSAT 2018 Application Form can be filled through online as well as offline mode.  
  • The exam is expected to be held in the third week of July 2018.
  • ULSAT 2018 will be conducted in online mode from any location.
  • There will be 150 multiple choice questions to be answered within 3 hours.
  • Test Paper is divided into 5 sections- Language comprehension, Quantitative and Numerical Ability, Logical Reasoning, Legal general Knowledge, and Legal Aptitude.
  • Each question carries 1 mark for right answer. There is no provision of negative marking.
  • Result will be disclosed expectantly in the last week of July 2018 on its official website i.e. www.upes.ac.in
  • Shortlisted candidates will be eligible for next rounds of selection i.e. Group Discussion and Personal Interview
  • Candidates selected in GD / PI round will be eligible for Admission as per the rank in merit list.

ULSAT 2018 Exam Dates

ULSAT 2018 Eligibility

Eligibility for ULSAT 2018 is based on academic qualification, minimum secured marks, and age limit as is given below herewith:

ULSAT 2018 Application Form

ULSAT 2018 Application Form will be available in both the modes online and offline. It is advised that applicant should ensure his/her candidature according to eligibility criteria prescribed for concerned course.

The details regarding submission of complete application form are given below:

Offline Mode

  • Application from will be available in office of UPES from November 2017 and last date of submission of application form by post or by hand is April 2018.
  • It can be bought by paying prescribed amount for ULSAT 2018 Application Form.
  • Submit completely filled application form by post or by hand at the office of UPES along with the application fee to be remitted via cash or DD.
  • Take the Photocopies of All Academic Record, Age Proof, Category Proof and Domicile Certificate along with you.

Online Mode

  • Visit www.upes.ac.in
  • Go to admission and click on ULSAT 2018 Application Form
  • First Complete Registration Formalities
  • Fill Application Form for ULSAT 2018 exam
  • Make online payment
  • Payment Acknowledgement will be generated showing payment confirmation detail
  • Candidates need to keep a print of payment acknowledgement for future references.

Note: Demand Draft should be made in favour of “UPES Fee Account” payable at New Delhi or
            Dehradun


ULSAT 2018 Admit Card

ULSAT 2018 Admit Card will be made available from fourth week of April 2018 on its official website i.e. www.upes.ac.in.  

University will not provide Admit Card for ULSAT 2018 entrance exam via any other mode.

Steps to download ULSAT 2018 Admit Card:

  • Visit official website of university i.e. www.upes.ac.in
  • Go to ULSAT 2018
  • Look for ULSAT Admit Card and Click on it
  • A new login form will open
  • Fill Application Number and Date of Birth
  • Click on Submit
  • Admit Card will be displayed on your computer screen, save it and take a printed copy for future reference.

Keep one Photo ID Proof in original form with Admit Card during ULSAT 2018 entrance exam for verification purpose e.g. PAN Card, Driving Licence, Passport, Voter ID, Adhaar Card, School Id Card etc.

ULSAT 2018 Exam Centers

  • ULSAT 2018 exam in online mode will not be held at above given exam centers.
  • It is facilitated that candidate who is going to take UPSAT 2018 in online mode can select his own place for exam.
  • It means candidate needs only Internet connection anywhere and he can start exam at the time and date as per the exam slot selected by him during submitting online exam application form.

ULSAT 2018 Exam Pattern

ULSAT 2018 entrance exam will be conducted in the third week of July 2018. The exam will be conducted in online mode. Details regarding ULSAT 2018 Exam Pattern are given below:

  • Total 150 questions are asked in the exam out of five sections.
  • All the questions are of objective types
  • Maximum marks are 150 and each question carries one mark for correct answer.
  • Negative marking scheme is not applicable in ULSAT 2018.
  • ULSAT 2018 entrance exam test paper will be divided into 5 sections based on following
    5 subjects-
  1. Language comprehension
  2. Quantitative and Numerical Ability
  3. Logical Reasoning
  4. Legal General Knowledge
  5. Legal Aptitude

ULSAT 2018 Result

ULSAT 2018 Result will be announced expectantly in last week of July 2018 on official website i.e. www.upes.ac.in

Steps to check result for ULSAT 2018

  • Go to the official website of UPES
  • Look for Admission or On Home Page
  • Click on ULSAT 2018 Result
  • A new window will appear
  • Login with Application Number/Roll Number and Date of Birth
  • Score Card will appear on screen and download it

Every candidate who passes in ULSAT 2018, will be eligible for next rounds of selection i.e. Group Discussion and Personal Interview. ULSAT 2018 Final Result will be announced after completion of GD/PI rounds. A list of finally qualified candidates will be published. Selected candidate will submit admission fee and required documents.


ULSAT 2018 Counselling

Candidates, who achieve higher ranks in merit list, get first chance to reserve seats in the counselling process. There may be only 2 or more rounds of counselling and admission process.

  • After declaration of final result, shortlisted candidates will have to report to any of counselling centers across India.
  • Admission will be finalised after reporting by candidate to counselling and admission process and verification of documents.
  • On approval of documents, candidate will have to deposit admission fee for confirming admission and reserving seat within the stipulated time.  

Documents Required During Counselling

  • Filled in Admission form
  • Scorecard and Admit Card of ULSAT 2018
  • Mark sheets and pass certificate of H.S.C / S.S.C. / Equivalent from the Board of Secondary Education / CBSE / ICSC as the case may be.
  • Consent of Parents / Legal Guardian for admission in prescribed format
  • Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended
  • Migration Certificate from the University / Board of last attended if required
  • Medical Fitness Certificate in prescribed Format
  • Identity Proof i.e. Aadhaar Card / Passport / Voter ID / or School ID issued by competent authority

In case candidate fails in submitting above mentioned documents during counselling session or within the stipulated time, admission will be cancelled.
