UKSEE Application Form 2018

Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE) is the exam is conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) for admission in various courses. It is a state level entrance exam. All eligible students can submit application form from 1st week to 3rd week of May 2018.

  • Candidates have to apply online through official website.
  • Students who are applying for more than one course, have to submit separate application forms for each course.
  • The application fee is Rs 1500 for general and OBC candidates, and Rs 750 for SC and ST candidate
  • Only students who have Uttarakhand domicile certificate are eligible to apply.
  • Those who have cleared their qualifying examination from Uttarakhand Technical Board/ Universities are also qualified for lateral entry seats, but they cannot avail any reservation.
  • There is no provision details once entered in the application. Therefore it is required that candidates must upload the details very carefully.

Candidates can refer to the tentative schedule for UKSEE 2018. All the dates will be updated as soon as the notification regarding UKSEE 2018 will be published.

Eligibility

Candidates can refer to the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. We have listed all the points for the eligibility for applying to UKSEE 2018.

  1. Citizenship
  • Only students who have Uttarakhand domicile certificate are eligible to apply.
  • Also, those having Uttarakhand domicile but have studied in a different state are qualified to apply for UKSEE 2018.
  • Domicile Certificate should be produced issued by the competent authority.
  • Those who have cleared their qualifying examination from Uttarakhand Technical Board/ Universities are also qualified for lateral entry seats, but they cannot avail any reservation.
  1. Educational Qualification

Those currently appearing for their final exams are also eligible to apply for the exam. But they should have received their result by the time counseling for UKSEE 2018 starts.

Minimum Marks: Should have cleared with 45% marks aggregate (40% for reserved categories)
Pharmacy 1st YearQualifying Exam: Should have cleared 10+2 with any recognized board.
Minimum Marks: should have secured at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates)
Subjects: Chemistry and Physics as mandatory subjects along with 3rd subject being biology/Mathematics or biotechnology
B.Pharma (Lateral Entry)Qualifying Exam: Should have passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved college.
Minimum marks: Should have at least 45% marks( for General) and 40% (for reserved categories)
BHMCT (Hotel management)Qualifying Exam: Should have passed 10+2 exam.
Minimum marks: Should have secured at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in the qualifying examination
MCAQualifying Exam: Should have bachelor’s Degree(minimum 3 years) from any recognized university.
Subject: Should have mathematics at 10+2 level or graduation level.
Minimum Marks: Should have passed in qualifying exam with 50% marks (45% marks for students belonging to reserved category)
MCA Lateral Entry(for Uttarakhand domicile and Academic domicile only)Qualifying Exam: Should have a degree from recognized university (minimum 3 years course) in BCA, B.sc (IT Computer Science)
Subject: Should have Mathematics as a core subject at 10+2 or at graduate level.
Minimum marks: Should have passed in qualifying exam with 50% marks (45% marks for students belonging to reserved category)
MBA (1st Year)Qualifying Exam: Should have a degree from recognized university (minimum 3 years course) in BCA, B.sc (IT Computer Science)
Subject: Should have Mathematics as a core subject at 10+2 or at graduate level.
Minimum marks: Should have passed in qualifying exam with 50% marks (45% marks for students belonging to reserved category) Note: The students who have qualified CAT / MAT are eligible for counseling without appearing in UKSEE – 2018.
M. Pharm. (1st Year)Qualifying Exam: Should have a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
Minimum marks: Should have passed in qualifying exam with 55% marks (50% marks for students belonging to reserved category) Note: The students who have qualified GPAT are eligible for counseling without appearing in UKSEE – 2018.

 

Note: Admission through counseling will be open first to MAT/ CAT /GPAT qualified candidates, and if seats remain unoccupied, candidates clearing UKSEE – 2018 will be offered admission on basis of merit.


How to fill UKSEE Application Form

Students are instructed to read information brochure entirely and carefully before filling UKSEE application form.

  • The form can only be filled out in the online mode and the payment also needs to online.
  • Eligible students can apply between 1st week and 3rd week of May.
  • Candidates, who are applying for more than one course, have to submit separate application forms for each course.
  • The hard copy of the form is not to be sent to the university.
  • Incomplete application forms will not be accepted.

Candidates should follow the following steps for filling UKSEE 2018 Application Form:

  1. Profile Management

Firstly, visit the official website http://uktech.ac.in/. Register by clicking on “New Registration”.  Select the program/programs that you want to apply for. Provide your email address and mobile number and date of birth. Set your profile password and click on “Submit”.

  1. Form Filling

Enter your personal details such as name, date of birth, gender, category and address, alternate contact details. Provide details relating to your educational qualification. The details once entered cannot be edited later on, so fill the details carefully   

  1. Upload of documents

Upload your photograph and signature as part of the application form. A recent photograph is to be uploaded. The size of the photograph should be minimum 35×45 mm. The photograph should have at least 75% coverage of face & head of the candidate. Photograph should be taken in a white/very light coloured background

  1. Application Fee Payment

Use the registration number and date of birth to log in. The payment can only be done by online payment gateways such as online net banking, credit card and debit card.

  1. Submission of application form

Verify all the information entered by you is correct. After confirming that all fields are correct, click on “Final Submit” button.

  • The application fee for general and OBC candidates is Rs 1500 whereas Rs 750 for SC/ST candidates.
  • The application fee is non-refundable.
