TSICET 2017 Application Process

TSICET 2017 (Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test) will be conducted by Kakatiya University for admission in M.B.A. and M.C.A. courses (full time/part-time/evening/distance mode) in all the institutes of Telangana state. The TSICET 2017 Application Process is available online in the official website: www.tscicet.org.

It is necessary for the candidates to fulfill the TSICET 2017 Eligibility Criteria notified by the conducting body before proceeding with  the TSICET 2017 Application Process. Once the TSICET 2017 Application Process is over, those candidates who have successfully filled the TSICET 2017 Application Form can access their TSICET 2017 Admit Card from the official website.


TSICET 2017 Registration Dates

It is more convenient for the applicants to submit the TSICET 2017 Application Form before the deadline i.e. April 5, 2017. Nevertheless, the candidates can submit the form at a later date along with late fee.The aspiring candidates of TSICET 2017 Exam should go through the detailed schedule of the examination and TSICET Application process mentioned below.

TSICET 2017 Eligibility 

The conducting body i.e. Kakatiya University will announce a list of TSICET 2017 Eligibility Criteria for the candidates applying to TSICET 2017. It is mandatory for the candidates to satisfy the eligibility criteria for TSICET 2017 otherwise their application will be liable for rejection at any stage of the admission procedure. The TSICET Eligibility Criteria are mentioned below:

  • The nationality of the candidates for TSICET 2017 must be Indian.
  • They must satisfy local/non-local status eligibility criteria laid down by the respective Telangana State Educational Institutions.

Local Status: This pertains to those candidates who have domicile of Telangana State.

Non Local Status: This status belongs to those candidates who do not possess domicile of Telangana State.

  • For both MBA and MCA the candidates must have passed Bachelors Degree of minimum three years duration, from a recognized university, with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories) in the qualifying examination.
  • Additionally for MCA, the candidate must have Mathematics at 10+2 level.
  • If the Bachelor’s Degree is obtained through a Distance Programme, it must be recognized by joint committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC.
  • Candidates, who are appearing for the final year degree examination are also eligible to take the TSICET 2017.

Details required for TSICET 2017 Application Form 

The candidate must keep the following details ready to fill the TSICET 2017 Application Form:

  • TS Online/AP Online/ e-Seva / Mee-Seva Center Transaction ID. (if payment is being made through TS Online / AP Online / e-Seva / Mee-Seva Center)
  • Qualifying Examination (passed or appearing) along with the Hall ticket Number of the qualifying examination.
  • Date of Birth as on Birth Certificate / SSC or Equivalent Certificate
  • Hall Ticket Number of SSC or Equivalent
  • Local Status (OU/ AU/ SVU/ Non-local) as mentioned on the local candidate certificate issued by MRO or Competent Authority
  • Income of Parents (Income less than Rs. 2.0 lakhs or more than Rs. 2.0 lakhs) as mentioned on the income certificate issued by MRO / Competent Authority
  • Category (SC, ST, BC etc.) as on the caste certificate issued by the MRO / Competent Authority
  • Special Category (NCC, PH, Sports, CAP, etc.) as on the certificate issued by Competent Authority.

TSICET 2017 Application Fee and Payment Mode 

The payment for TSICET 2017 can be made by both offline and online modes. The registration fee for the TSICET 2017 is:

  • 250/- for SC/ST Candidates / 350/- for Other Candidates

However those candidates who wishes to submit the application form after the first deadline i.e. April 5, 2017 have to pay late fee. The late fee payment details are given below:

TSICET 2017 Offline Payment Mode 

The candidates have to follow the following steps to make the payment of registration fee and apply for the exam. If the selected payment mode is AP Online / e-Seva / Mee Seva, simply follow these step by step instructions:

  1. The candidate has to first pay at the nearest AP Online / e-Seva / Mee Seva centers.

  1. Upon payment they will obtain a transaction ID.

TSICET 2017 Online Payment Mode 

If the preferred payment mode is online, then the candidates can pay via Debit card / Credit card.

Steps for TSICET 2017 Application Process 

The mode of TSICET 2017 Application Process is ‘online’ only. The payment of application fee will be followed by Online TSICET 2017 Application Form filling and submission. The candidates are suggested to keep all the details ready while filling the online application form, along with the scanned signature and photograph according to the guidelines explained in the following sections.

Step 1: Registration and payment

  1. Log on to ‘www.tsicet.org’.
  2. Click on the ‘Apply Online’.
  3. The ‘Registration Fee Payment Procedure’ web page will appear on the screen.

If the payment mode is AP Online / e-Seva/ Mee Seva then follow these steps

  1. On this page, select the preferred Registration Fee payment mode: AP Online / e-Seva/ Mee Seva or Debit card/ Credit card.
  2. Then, click on ‘Click here if paid through AP Online / e-Seva/ Mee Seva’ button.
  3. This will be followed by ‘Payment Verification’ web page.
  4. Fill in the Transaction ID.
  5. Click on ‘Proceed to Online Application form filling’ following which the Online TSICET 2017 Application Form will appear on the screen.

If the payment mode is Debit card/ Credit card then follow these steps

  1. Click on the online payment option.
  2. This will lead to ‘Payment Gateway’, where the candidate can proceed to make the payment.
  3. Select the card type (VISA or MasterCard or Maestro).
  4. Click ‘Make Payment’.
  5. Enter card details such as Card number, Expiry date / From Date, Security Code / CVV number etc.
  6. Enter details such as Card Number, Expiry Date and Security Code.
  7. Click ‘Pay Now’.
  8. Candidates must make sure that during the payment process, they must not click ‘Back / Refresh’ button or close the browser page abruptly. The  payment process usually takes a couple of minutes.
  9. The candidate will be directed to the bank Site with the Authentication Page.
  10. On this page, select one of the preferred authentication options: OTP/ IPIN. Enter the details of OTP/ IPIN.
  11. If the OTP/ IPIN is correct, the transaction will be successful.
  12. Next, click on ‘Proceed to Online Application Form Filling’ and fill in the TSICET 2017 Application Form.

After clicking on ‘Proceed to Online Application Form Filling’ the Online TSICET 2017 Application form will appear.

Step 2:The applicant must enter the following details

  1. Candidate’s Personal Details.
  2. Qualifying Examination Details.
  • Fill the qualifying examination -Degree’s name, Passed or Appearing, Year of Passing and Hall Ticket Number.
  • Fill the Percentage of Marks, Place of Study of Degree.
  1. Regional Center of Entrance Test.
  2. Candidates’s Category as mentioned in the Caste certificate.
  3. Local Area Status: AU (Andhra University), OU (Osmania University), SVU (Sri Venkateswara University) or Non Local.
  4. SSC (10th class) or equivalent details: Board, Hall Ticket number, Year of Passing, Urban/ Rural.
  5. Select whether Non-Minority / Minority.
  6. Special Category, if applicable, such as
  • NCC/ PH (Physically Handicapped)
  • OH (Orthopaedically Handicapped)
  • CAP (Children of Armed Personnel)
  • VH (Visually Handicapped)
  • Sports
  • HI (Hearing Impaired)
  1. Annual Income of the Parent.
  2. Address for Correspondence, contact number and email ID.
  3. Intermediate /Degree details

Step 3: Uploading Photo and Signature

  • Click on ‘Select file’ for uploading the photo (Format: .jpg file, Size: less than 30 KB).
  • Click on ‘Select file’ for uploading the signature (Format: .jpg format, Size: less than 15 KB).

Step 4: Complete and verify all the details in the TSICET 2017 Application Form and accept the Declaration.

Step 5: Click on ‘Submit’ button.

Step 6: Once the candidate completes and submits the TSICET 2017 Application Form, a preview of the filled in Online Application Form with candidate’s details and Registration ID will appear on the screen.

Step 7: The candidate should take a print out of this preview of the filled in TSICET 2017 Application form for use at subsequent stages of the selection process.

TSICET 2017 Application Form Corrections 

Once the candidate has submitted the online TSICET 2017 Application form and a preview of the same with the Registration ID is generated. No changes in the application form will be possible. But for certain fields (except Regional Test Centre) can be edited if a request letter with relevant proof is sent to Convener, TSICET 2017 or on email ID: convenertsicet2017@gmail.com

Ques.  After submitting the TSICET 2017 Application form, how to be sure if it is received and accepted?

Ans.  If the TSICET 2017 Application form is successfully submitted, an SMS will be received on the registered mobile number. Also, a preview of the filled in ‘Online Application Form’ along with the registration ID and barcode will be generated immediately for the candidate to take out a printout.

Ques. Are any documents to be uploaded with the online TSICET 2017 Application form?

Ans.  No, documents are not to be uploaded. The candidates have to upload only photo and signature.

Ques. Is it necessary to post the TSICET 2017 Application Form and attachments?

Ans.  No, it is not required.

Ques. If the copy of the TSICET 2017 Application Form is misplaced, how to get another copy?

Ans.  A printout of the TSICET 2017 Application Form can be taken from www.tsicet.org by giving the relevant details.

Ques. If a candidate does not have a mobile number, will it be an issue for the TSICET 2017 Application Form?

Ans.  Having a mobile number is compulsory. If a candidate does not have a mobile number, he/ she can enter the parent’s/ guardian’s mobile number in the Application form.

Ques. Is the registration fee for the TSICET 2017 refundable?

Ans.  The TSICET 2017 registration fee is non refundable and also n- transferrable.
