TS LAWCET Registration, Application Form

The Application Form for TS LAWCET 2017 will be released by the authority in the third week of March 2017. Candidates can fill the form till May 2017. It can be filled and submitted through the official website. Candidates have to pay the specified application fee, along with scanned images of their passport sized photograph and digital signature, to complete the TS LAWCET Registrations.

The tentative TS LAWCET Exam Date for this year is May 27, 2017. TSLAWCET is conducted for admissions to undergraduate law courses including 3-year LLB and 5-year integrated law in various law colleges of the state. Candidates applying for both, 3 year and 5 year courses, must have scored 45% of aggregate marks in their 10+2 examination.

TS LAWCET 2017 Registration Dates

The candidates are advised to go through the table of important dates and keep a record of the various processes to be followed within the stipulated time. The table of TS LAWCET 2017 Registration Dates is given below:

TS LAWCET 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission through LAWCET, must make sure they fulfill the specified TS LAWCET Eligibility.  The baisc age, educational and domicile eligibility is specified below:

  1. Educational Criteria

Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying examinations can also appear for the TS LAWCET. The admission of such candidates would be based on their scores and securing minimum eligible marks in the respective qualifying examination. Candidates who have completed their 10+2 or graduation/post-graduation in open Universities system without obtaining the basic academic qualifications mandatory for these courses are not eligible to pursue any law courses. The eligibility conditions have been specified below:

  • 3 year LL.B Course: The candidates applying for 3 year LL.B must have completed their graduation in any field of study from a well-known University. Candidates should possess an additional graduation or post-graduation degree with at least 45% if they have secured only 45% in their graduation.
  • 5 Year LL.B. Course: The candidates applying for 5 year LL.B. must have completed 10+2 or HSC examination or any other that is deemed as equivalent by the concerned University or the Board of Intermediate Examination. Candidates should have obtained a minimum 45% of aggregate marks.
  • For Reserved Category

Note: The percentage of 39.5% or above in case of candidates belongs to SC//ST category and 44.5% or above in case of other categories will be considered.

  1. Age Limit

As per the regulations laid down by the Govt. of Telengana state, the upper age limit for candidates participating in the TSLAWCET Exam is 30 years, while the lower age limit is 20 years. For reserved category students (SC/STs) upper age limit can be relaxed by 5 years and the lower age limit by 2 years.

  1. Nationality/Domicile Criteria

Only Indian Citizens are eligible to apply for TSLAWCET. In addition, candidates have to also satisfy the Local/Unreserved status requirement as affirmed in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order, 1974.


TSLAWCET 2017 Registration

The TS LAWCET 2017 Application Form will be filled online only through the official website. Candidates will register for TS LAWCET 2017, fill the application form, upload documents, pay the application fees and print their filled application form.

Candidates don’t have to send a copy of their online filled application form to the college. After successful submission of online TS LAWCET application form candidates will receive a notification on the mobile number provided by them.

How to apply for TS LAWCET?

In order to fill the application form of TS LAWCET 2017 candidates must follow the steps given below:

TS LAWCET Registration

  1. Visit the official website
  2. Enter your Name, Parents’ Name and Date of Birth
  3. Enter your Academic Details
  4. Select TS LAWCET 2017 from the list of exams in the drop down menu
  5. Upload photograph and signature
  6. Choose the preferred Exam Centre, Reservation Status and Family Income.
  7. Check the filled-in application form before submitting it.
  8. Click on ‘Save and Submit’ button to submit the TS LAWCET 2017 application form.
  9. All the details should be carefully filled in the TSLAWCET 2017 Application Form. No changes can be made once the forms are submitted. The particulars should be exactly same as the information given on the uploaded documents.

NOTE:

  • If any candidate wishes to edit the application form, candidates have to login on the official website and edit the information after submitting the TS LAWCET Application Form.
  • If any information is not allowed to be altered, candidates are advised to select the option of “SUBMIT COMPLAINT” under the Help Desk tab provided on the Home Page. Modification in the particulars would be based on proper documentary evidence.

TS LAWCET 2017 Registration Form Details

Candidates in their online application form will be required to fill certain details. These details have been divided into sections and information required for those sections are mentioned below:

Section 1: Candidate Details

  • Candidate’s Name
  • Father’s Name
  • Date of Birth (as per your SSC(10th Class) or equivalent records)
  • Gender

Section 2: Qualifying Examination

  • Type of Qualifying Examination

  • Hall Ticket number of Qualifying Exam

Section 3: Entrance Exam

  • TSLAWCET 3 Years

Section 4: Photo and Signature

  • For uploading the photograph, candidate shall click on “Select file”. The photograph file should be in the .jpg file format and the size should be less than 30 KB.
  • For uploading the signature, a candidate will click on “Select file” and ensure that the Signature’s file format should be .jpg format and the size has to be less than 15 KB.

Section 5: Regional Centre for appearing the test

  • Choose from a list of Centres listed in drop down menu

Section 6: Category

  • Choose Category from OC, SC, BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D, BC-E, ST

Section 7: Seeking Admission under Special Category

  • Choose from NCC, Sports, CAP

  • Select the Non-Minority, if a candidate does not belong to the Minority community.
  • Select Minority if a candidate belongs to Minority, select sub-category to choose relevant minority community.

TS LAWCET 2017 Registration Fee

The TS LAWCET 2017 Registration Fee for general category students is INR 350. It is INR 250 for candidates from SC/ST category. Candidates who wish to apply for TS LAWCET, are requested to fill the particulars carefully in online application form. The required information should be from the relevant documents.

There are two modes of payment:

  1. Through AP Online/ TS Online
  2. Debit Card/ Credit Card

If TS / AP Online mode is selected, then candidates must visit the TS / AP online centres with following details:

  • Name of the Candidate
  • Candidate’s Father’s Name
  • Date of Birth of Candidate
  • Hall ticket number of S.S.C (X standard)
  • Mobile number

Candidates will pay the fee and obtain the receipt for registration fee paid and ensure that it contains the Transaction ID. Then, candidates can then log in to their TS LAWCET Profile ID and will again visit the ‘Fee Payment Page’ and then will click on ‘Click here if paid through TS/AP Online.

This will open a new page of ‘Payment verification’. Candidates will the following details in the Payment Verification page and click on ‘Proceed to online form filling’:

  • Payment made through TS/AP Online Transaction Id
  • Candidate’s Name
  • Mobile number
  • Date of Birth

After the payment is cleared successfully, candidates will move on to fill the application form. After the ‘Make Payment’ is clicked, a new page asking for Credit Card/ Debit Card details will open. After making the payment candidates will see a ‘Payment Successful’ page and they will click on ‘Proceed to fill Online Form’.
