TISSNET 2017 RESULT & COUNSELLING
STATE LEVEL ONLINE TEST
TISSNET Results 2017 are set to be out on February 10, 2017 by 6 pm. TISS Result 2017 will be declared at its official website i.e. www.admissions.tiss.edu/. TISSNET 2017 was successfully conducted on January 7, 2017. Earlier, the TISSNET 2017 Result Date was January 27, but then it was postponed until February 10, 2017.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of a merit list which is prepared by cumulating the total scores obtained by candidates at different selection stages. The merit list of TISSNET will decide the shortlisted candidates who are then called for a personal interview. Candidates will be called for TISSNET 2017 selection process if they score well in the exam, meet the TISSNET 2017 cut off, clear the pre-interview test and personal interview post selection in the merit list. For final selection, 40% weightage will be given to TISSNET marks and 30% each will be given to PIT & PI.

TISSNET being a computer based test, procuring TISSNET Answer Keys 2017 is not possible. Though students may find a few answer keys of TISSNET over the internet by unofficial sources, it is suggested that candidates should not rely on them.
Pre Interview Test (PIT) is a written test for all the shortlisted candidates for all the programmes. The written test and personal interview will be held centrally at Mumbai campus except the Guwahati and Hyderabad Campuses. The written test and PI for both these campuses will be held in their respective campuses. The PIT will be for 50 marks and the time allotted is 45 minutes.
The PIT for Social Work Programmes comprises of 2 sections. Section 1 involves writing an essay of less than 1000 words. The essay is given on an issue/theme of contemporary socio-political, economic, cultural and political significance (30 Marks). The essay will assess the analytical and writing abilities of the candidates.
Section 2 carries a short case-let. The candidates will have to answer 4 questions based on the case-let (20 Marks). It is like the unseen passage will be given and questions will be asked on the same paragraph. This section will evaluate social awareness and sensitivity of candidates to complex field.

Ans: If TISS releases any direct link, all the candidates will definitely receive it. Just in case you don't receive the link, even then you can check the TISS Result. All you have to do is to follow the steps mentioned below:

If still the entrance score are also equal then candidate older in age will be given preference over the one younger in age.
