TANCET 2017 Application Process commences from May 02, 2017. The candidates aspiring admissions in post graduate programmes such as MBA, MCA, ME/M.Tech./ M.Arch./M.Plan can apply for TANCET 2016. The conducting authority for TANCET 2017 is Anna University, Chennai. The candidates must check the TANCET 2017 Eligibility Criteria to apply for the examination.
The TANCET 2017 Application Form is available online only. The candidates may register online on the official website of Anna University. TANCET 2017 Application Process is similar for all the courses. The candidates can apply for multiple courses since every exam is scheduled on a different date. The registration fee for one course is INR 500 (INR 250 for ST/SCA/SC candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu).
TANCET 2017 enables the candidates to seek admissions in Regional colleges of Anna University, Government and Government aided colleges of Engineering, Arts & Science and self-financed Colleges in Tamil Nadu. Candidates with at least 50% in their graduation (45% for SC/ST/SCA) are eligible for the exam. The examination shall be conducted offline on June 11, 2017 and June 12, 2017.

The Candidates need to pay INR 500 (INR 250 for reserved candidates) for any one of the programmes offered by the Anna University among M.B.A., M.C.A. or M.E/M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. degree programmes. A candidate applying for more than one programme has to pay INR 500 (INR 250 for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) for each additional programme through online payment gateway only.
Exam centers for TANCET 2017 are stretched throughout the state. Exam Centers must be chosen based on some important factors such as candidates’ knowledge about the city; connectivity and distance from the candidates’ place. Candidates are advised to visit the Exam center city a day before the Exam Date to avoid any hassle or panic during the day. Every effort will be taken to comply with the candidate’s choice for the entrance test center. However, any other center may be allotted to few candidates due to reasons like non-availability of space. In any case, a center once allotted cannot be changed for any reasons. Applicants can easily download the Hall ticket from the official website. The TANCET admit card will be available at the official website as soon the verification process of candidates’ documentation gets over. The Hall Ticket contains the following information about the applicant- Hall Ticket Number, Photograph of the candidate, Address of the test Center and Test Date. Hall Ticket should be produced at the time of Entrance Test and also at the time of Admission. If the hall ticket is lost after the test, a duplicate hall ticket can be obtained on payment of 100/- in the form of a Demand Draft, with a written request to The Secretary, TANCET, Anna University, Chennai – 600 025, indicating the Registration No. / Application No. and the name of the Examination Centre.
