SUAT 2017 Eligibility

SUAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria is decided by Sharda University. It is different for Undergraduate and Post-graduate courses. To be able to apply for an UG course, a candidate must pass class XII. To apply for a PG course, he must possess a Bachelor’s degree. An applicant must also be at least 17 years till December 31 of the academic year to which they are seeking admission, to stand eligible.  

SUAT 2017 Application Form can be last filled by April 28, 2017. Before filling the Application Form of Sharda University, candidates must go through SUAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria.

SUAT 2017 will be conducted online by Sharda University tentatively in the month of May, 2107. The exam is a gateway to courses such as B. Tech, BCA, MCA, B. Tech + MBA integrated, B. Tech + M. Tech integrated, BBA, B. Com, BBA + MBA integrated, MBA, Journalism & Mass Communication & Design, Integrated Law, BA (Hons) & B.Sc.

The candidate who are holding ranks in the below listed national/entrance exam do not qualify for SUAT 2017.

  • Engineering – JEE-Main (Rank < 3,00,000)/UPSEE (Rank < 50,000)
  • Law – CLAT/LSAT (valid score card)
  • MBA – XAT/CAT/MAT (CAT > 65%, MAT > 75%)
  • Architecture – NATA (Valid Scores)
  • UPCMET (valid score card)
  • UPCAT (valid score card)

SUAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria

The MBA aspiring students should note that if they fail to meet the eligibility criteria they will get rejected by the officials. Below are the eligibility criteria for MBA candidates: -

  • The candidate applying should have attained 50% marks and completed graduation. Final year students can also apply.
  • The candidate should know how to communicate in English.
  • The final selection shall be done on the basis of the marks scored in SUAT test, followed by Group Discussion/Personal Interview.
  • If the candidate has appeared for MAT and has scored 75%, they will be exempted from giving SUAT exam. But the candidates will have to attend Group Discussion/Personal Interview.
  • If the candidate has appeared for CAT and has scored 65%, they will be exempted from giving SUAT exam. But will have to attend Group Discussion/Personal Interview.
  • For foreign nationals, prescribed educational qualification is degree awarded by a University in a particular country and should meet the equivalence criteria of Association of Indian Universities

Course-wise Eligibility Criteria

  • Pre-qualification criteria for under graduates is class 12th from recognized board of India and meet the University admission criteria.
  • In order to qualify for undergraduate courses in Sharda University, the candidate should be 1 7 years of age.
  • Foreign national candidates are required to pass certificate equivalent to Class 12th examination. Such candidates are also required to meet the eligibility criteria of Association of Indian University (AIU).

SUAT 2017 Reservation Scheme

The entrance exam is open to all the candidates. There are no category-wise reservation guidelines have been prescribed by the Sharda University. However, the university sets a reservation criteria for applicants where a fixed percentage of seats are kept reserved for special community/ minority.

The allotment of seats is based on SUAT score and ranking. The fee structure is same for all the candidates. There is no relaxation in age, fees or seats as per SUAT reservation rules.

Process of SUAT 2017 Admissions

  • In order to take admission, the candidate should fill in the application form. The details required in the form are candidate’s name, email address, mobile number, country, state, city, date of birth, gender, academic career, program, specialization and much more.
  • Once the application is filled, the candidate will have to pay the fees at the same time.
  • When the application gets submitted, the candidate receives a mail which provides the link of booking, user id and password.
  • The credentials should be used by the candidate to log in and book the slot.
  • In order to book the slot, they will have to fill in the preferred exam state, city, centre, date of test and time slot.
  • Once the details are entered, the candidate can download the admit card. The admit card needs to be carried with the candidate all the time, especially during examination.
