SNAP 2016 Result

SNAP test is due to be conducted on December 18, 2016 and the result will be declared on January 9, 2017. The result will be released on the official website for SNAP test 2016. After result declaration, each participating institute for SNAP will release their respective cutoff marks. The cutoff is the minimum score a candidate must have secured in SNAP exam in order to be eligible for the selection rounds.

How to check SNAP Result 2016

Candidates can check the result of SNAP 2016 on the official website of SNAP only. The Result will not be communicated individually to the candidates via email or post. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to check their SNAP Results.

  1. Go to the official website of SNAP.
  2. Click the link ‘Download Score Card’.
  3. Enter your SNAP ID and password.
  4. Verify all the details mentioned in the Score Card
  5. Download & Save the Score Card
  6. Obtain Hard copy for future purposes

Institutes Accepting SNAP Scores

SNAP test is conducted for admission to MBA Programmes offered by the Institutes under Symbiosis International University, Pune. Candidates need to meet the mentioned Cutoff of SNAP Test to make it to the institutes. Factors Affecting SNAP Scores

The final result of SNAP Test 2016 is prepared based upon the following factors –

  • Total number of candidates who appear in SNAP 2016.
  • The SNAP Cutoff Marks released by the various Institutes affiliated with SIU and by SIBM, Pune.
  • Availability of seats in the Institutes
  • Difficulty level of SNAP test
  • The reservation policy of the Institutes.

Processing of SNAP 2016 Merit List

The shortlisting of the candidates for the next stage, which is GE-PIWAT, is based upon the overall percentile scored in SNAP Test 2016. The participating institutes publish the category-wise cutoff on their respective websites post the announcement of the SNAP Results

The total weightage for SNAP 2016 merit list will be based upon the following criteria:

SNAP Score out of 150 marks scaled down to 50 marks50
Group Exercise (GE)10
Personal Interaction (PI)30
Writing Ability Test (WAT)10

The shortlisted candidates will be required to present the authenticated Admit card (the SNAP Admit Card which would be verified and authenticated against the photo-id on test day) for further GE-PIWAT processes. It is compulsory for the candidates to attend all components/tests of GE-PIWAT to be eligible for admission to any PG programme of Symbiosis International University (SIU). Only those candidates who attend all components/tests of selection process (GE-PIWAT), will be considered while preparation of merit / wait / reject list.

SNAP Selection Process

All the qualified candidates of the SNAP test will be shortlisted for the further Selection Process. All the qualified candidates are shortlisted according to the percentile scored by them in SNAP Test. Post the announcement of result, candidates are required to report at the applied Institutes during SNAP Registration. The selection process includes the following rounds:

  1. Group Exercise
  2. Perssonal Interaction
  3. Written Ability Test

Candidates are required to be present in person during the time of Selection Process. Absence of candidates from any stage of SNAP Seletion Process will result in cancellation of the their candidature.
