NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST

SNAP 2016 Exam Pattern

Symbiosis International University SIU, Pune will conduct SNAP Test 2016 on December 18. SNAP will be conducted in the offline mode and will have 150 questions to be solved in 120 minutes. The questions asked as per SNAP Exam Pattern will be divided into four sections viz. Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, and General Awareness(30). Each correct response will provide 1 mark and ¼ marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

The difficulty level of the exam is moderate to easy. However, time management is important as the ratio of number of questions to minutes allotted is approximately 5:4. The table below explains the main highlights of the SNAP exam pattern.

SNAP Test 2016 Quantitative Aptitude (QA)

Quantitative Aptitude in SNAP Test section consists of 40 questions based upon Arithmetic, Geometry, Data Interpretation and Data sufficiency, etc. The level of questions asked in SNAP QA is moderate with only a few questions above the average difficulty level.

SNAP Test 2016 General English (GE)

No substantial change in the SNAP Exam Pattern of General English is expected. Candidates are judged on their reading and comprehension skills. Topics such as reading comprehension, sentence completion, vocabulary, error spotting, etc. will be covered in General English. SNAP Test 2016 Logical Reasoning (LR)

Analytical and Logical Reasoning section consists of 40 questions which cover topics such as Input- Output based questions, syllogisms, verbal reasoning, critical reasoning, etc. Compared to previous years, LR in SNAP Test 2016 will see some changes in the number of questions. SNAP Test 2016 General Awareness (GA)

SNAP General Awareness comprises of current affairs as well as economics of the country, schemes launched by Government, Indian Polity, Geography, etc. This section comprises of 30 questions. Candidates must be aware of the current affairs of last two years. Follow the table and pie-chart given below to get analysis of this section:

SNAP Test 2016 Marking Scheme

SNAP is an objective test of two hours duration. The test will be held on a single day at different SNAP test centres across the country. Each question will have four answer choices out of which the candidate is required to mark any one. One mark will be awarded and for each wrong answer, ¼ marks will be deducted. The candidates are hence advised to be careful while marking their responses.

The SNAP 2016 exam will be for a total of 150 marks and the paper will be divided into four sections. For a better and thorough understanding of the SNAP Exam pattern 2016, candidates should go through previous years’ question papers and practice a lot of sample papers.
