SNAP 2017 Application form and Exam dates
SNAP 2017 is conducted for admission to MBA programs at Symbiosis University and its affiliated institutes. A total of 14 institutes participates in SNAP exam. The Symbiosis University offers some new age and innovative MBA programs such as MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, MBA in Content Management, and MBA in Telecom Management.
SNAP is usually conducted in the month of December in pen-paper mode. It consists of four sections – Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, and General Awareness.
The Result is published in form of Scorecards at snaptest.org in the month of January. The participating institutes accepting SNAP 2017 scores will invite students for GD PI WAT. The candidates will be shortlisted as per the decided SNAP 2017 Cut-off. The Cut-off of SNAP 2017 is calculated considering multiple factors. SNAP 2017 Registration
Candidates can apply online for SNAP 2017 till November 25, 2017. SNAP 2017 Registration includes 2 steps :-
- Registration for Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP 2017)
- Registration to the Participating colleges for GI, PI & WAT Rounds.
SNAP 2017 Application Form
Application Form for SNAP is available at the Symbiosis International University (SIU) official website. Last date to apply is November 25, 2017. The step-wise procedure to complete SNAP registration is explained in the flow chart given below:
SNAP 2017 Exam Fee
The application fee is Rs 1500. Along with exam fee, candidates have to pay an additional amount of Rs 1000 for Institutes’ registration. They can remit fee via following mode :-
- Credit Card
- Net banking
- Cash Payment
- Demand Draft
SNAP 2017 Registration for Foreign Candidates
SNAP 2017 is also open to Foreign Candidates. However, the registration and admission process for International candidates are different than the regular procedure. SIU prepares a central Merit List for all the registered candidates. The merit list finalises the admission of the candidate. The Registration and Admission Steps for an International Candidate include Application Form filling, Document Verification and Generation of SNAP Merit List.
Registration to institutes for GD & PI
After submission of application form , candidates have to register to the institutes they want to get admission to. For this they have to visit the official website of the institution. Candidates will get a list of institutes of colleges accepting SNAP score in the registration form. The registration fee is Rs 1000. SNAP 2017 Admit Card
The SNAP Admit Cardwill be available on the official website from December 2, 2017. The admit card can be downloaded from the official website by using the SNAP ID and password created during registration.
The steps to download the SNAP 2017 Admit Card are indicated in the flowchart given below:
Candidates have to affix a passport size recent coloured photograph on the admit card similar to the photograph uploaded during SNAP registration. They also have to carry a valid photo id along with the admit card on the day of the exam.

SNAP 2017 Exam Pattern
SNAP 2017 is a pen-paper based test. The duration of the SNAP 2017 is 2 hours. The total marks is 150, distributed among foursections – General English, Quantitative Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, General Awareness and Analytical & Logical Reasoning with questions from the topics mentioned in SNAP Syllabus. All questions will be objective in nature and will have four options to choose from. The section-wise distribution of marks is explained in thetable below.
Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for every correct response while ¼ marks will be deducted for every incorrect response. Candidates should use only Blue/Black ball point pen to mark their answers in the OMR Sheet.

SNAP 2017 Eligibility
The candidates should make sure that they fulfil SNAP Eligibility prior to Registration for SNAP 2017.
- Candidates must have completed Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% (45% in case of SC/ST) from a renowned University or Institute.
- Candidates appearing in their qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.
- International Candidates must produce an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- The various categories included under the Foreign Candidates are Foreign Candidates, Person Of Indian Origin, Overseas Citizen Of India and Non-Resident Indians.

SNAP 2017 Result
The SNAP Result will be declared on snaptest.org. Candidates can check their result on SNAP official Website. It is published in form of score cards comprising marks scored by the candidates in each section of SNAP Test. Candidates with Scores/Percentiles above the mentioned SNAP Cut off will be shortlisted in the colleges applied at the time of SNAP Registration. Shortlisted candidates will then be called for the final round of selection which comprises of a Personal Interview and a Written Ability Test.

SNAP 2017 Selection Process
Candidates qualifying successfully in the SNAP 2017 written examination will be further called for Group Exercise, Personal Interaction and Written Ability Test on the basis of SNAP 2017 percentile scored. All the participating institutes will publish their separate category wise SNAP 2017 Cut off at their respective websites. The total weightage given to different processes for SNAP 2017 Merit list preparation is explained in the chart below:
It is mandatory for the shortlisted candidates to appear for GE, PI & WAT to be eligible for admission to any PG program of Symbiosis International University (SIU). Candidates who fail to appear for any of the components/tests of GE-PI-WAT will be disqualified.
Candidates are marked out of 10 for the process of group exercise.The main aim of Group Exercise in SNAP Selection Process to test candidates for aptitude of Reasoning, strong decision-making power, initiative and other Managerial Skills.
Written Ability Test
The candidates have to appear for the written ability test of 10 marks as an important component of the SNAP Selection Process. Candidates are required to write an essay on any common or business related topic. It is meant to test the writing skills of candidates along with their knowledge of various topics.
The personal interaction round carries 30 marks. Candidates are judged on various parameters of confidence & overall personality, a creative thought process and an innovative bent of mind. The questions will be based on candidates’ past academic performance, any prior voluntary work he may have done and other achievements. The panel intends to determine candidates’ ability to fit into the college atmosphere and their overall aptitude.

SNAP 2017 Reservation
The seat reservation for candidates seeking admission to Symbiosis University is as per the regulations of UGC. SIU provides 3% reservation to the candidates with disabilities. These disability categories include vision impairment, hearing impairment, locomotors disabilities, mental retardation, multiple disabilities and Dyslexia.

SNAP 2017 Cutoff
The Participating Institutes under SNAP will release their SNAP Cut off post the successful conduct of SNAP Test on Dec 18, 2017. Candidates with scores equal to or above than the mentioned cut off will be shortlisted for the selection procedure rounds. The table below explains the cut off trend for the Top SNAP Colleges. The SNAP Cut off of the upcoming exam is expected to follow the same trend as previous years. A score of 98% or above should make it easy for the candidate to get admission into their desired college and the remaining 1% helps to make it to the desired Management Stream.
