RMCAAT 2017 Application Form

RMCAAT is responsible for organising Masters of Computer Application Admission test for those candidates who are seeking admission to three years regular MCA programs. RMCAAT is conducted by the Rajasthan Technical University.

RMCAAT 2017 application form will be available online in the month of April, 2017. The result of entrance examination will be declared in the month of May every year. The examination is comprised of 200 multiple choice questions. The time duration to complete the examination is 2 hours.

Candidates can register themselves for RMCAAT 2017 by filling online form available on the official website of RMCAAT. They are advised to read the instructions carefully before applying to RMCAAT 2017.

Candidate’s selection is based on the marks secured by them in the entrance examination. Selected candidates will be called for counselling. Students have to attend the counselling along with the original documents for their verification. Candidates should report for counselling on time.

RMCAAT 2017 How to apply?

Candidates can obtain the information related to online counselling from the website “www.rmcaatonline.com”. The information regarding counselling scheduled will be notified on the website. Candidates can apply for RMCAAT 2017 through online mode only. This is comprised of mainly two steps i.e. Online Registration and counselling Procedure, Reservation which is explained as below:

Procedure for online Registration and Counselling

Step 1: Registration and Counselling

  • Candidates have to submit INR 2000 as registration and counselling fees through e-Mitra services. The e-Mitra portal will generate 16 digit token number and receipt. Candidates are advised to keep the receipt safely for further use.
  • Students need to fill separate application form for the first year of MCA and second year of MCA.
  • Candidates can register themselves online through website “www.rmcaat.online.com” by entering their name, father’s name and date of birth.  
  • To activate the online registration form they have to enter the token number in the appropriate column.
  • After the successful registration, candidates will be called for counselling.

Following is the steps required for online counselling which is as below:

Choice filling: While filling online application form candidates are required to give his or her preference of choice of institution. Candidates need to lock the selected option through “Final Lock” option.

Seat Matrix: The seat matrix will be uploaded on the official website. In the case of any doubt, candidates should refer website.

Seat allocation: Seats will be allotted on the basis of marks secured in NIMCET 2017 or according to the percentage of marks achieved in graduation

Allotment letter: After the declaration of result candidates can download their allotment letter from the website.

Reporting: Candidates have to report to the allotted institute along with the required documents within the specified time.

Upward movement seats: After the first round of counselling is over the vacant seats will be available for upward movement

Allotment of New Seat: If after the upgrade candidate will be allotted to a new college and previously allotted seat will be cancelled.

Step 2: Candidates must ready the following list of documents while filling the online registration form and also at the time of counselling

  1. Scanned copy of candidates Photograph in JPEG/ GIF/ BMP format up to maximum 100 KB size limit.
  2. Scanned copy of candidates Signature in JPEG/ GIF/ BMP format up to maximum 50 KB size limit.
  3. A Copy of Mark sheets of X, XII, Graduation and NIMCET 2017 score cards (if applicable).
  4. Candidate’s mobile number
  5. Fee receipt generate by e-Mitra having 16 digit unique token numbers.

Step 3: Online Registration form filling

  • Candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully before start filling the online registration form.
  • Students must fill details carefully including category, marks obtained in qualifying examination, choice of college etc.
  • They must ensure that photograph and signature should be same as uploaded before.
  • Candidates can only edit the application form before doing final submission because no change will be accepted after final submission.

Step 4: After successful registration confirmation message will be displayed on the candidate’s computer screen.

Step 5: Candidates are advised to take the printout of filled in the form for further use.

  • They have to provide their registration number along with the date of birth.

RMCAAT 2017 Exam Pattern

The RMCAAT paper contains 200 MCQs. The time duration to complete the examination is 2 hours. For every correct answer, the candidate will be awarded by 1 mark. There will be no negative marking for the wrong answer.
