RMAT 2018 Exam Pattern

RMAT 2018 will be conducted by Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. RMAT 2018 will be conducted in the last week of May 2018. RMAT is a State Level Entrance examination conducted once every year to provide admission to MBA courses exclusively for the domiciles of Rajasthan.

  • Rajasthan Management Aptitude Test 2018 will be conducted in Offline (Pen and paper based) mode.
  • The test will be based on Objective questions only.
  • There will be 200 objective based multiple-choice questions for the test.
  • One mark will be allotted for each correct answer. No negative marking will be applicable while evaluating the test papers.
  • The duration for RMAT 2018 will be 150 minutes.
  • The medium for appearing in RMAT is English only.
  • RMAT question paper will be based on topics such as Data analysis and interpretation, English Language, General Awareness, Mathematical ability and Reasoning and Aptitude.

Rajasthan Management Aptitude Test i.e. RMAT is a state level entrance examination conducted for those students who wish to get admission into MBA program. The examination is conducted by Rajasthan Technical University.

RMAT 2018 Application will begin in the last week of March 2018. The closing date for application form submission is in the mid-week of April 2018. RMAT 2018 will be conducted in the last week of May. The schedule for RMAT 2018 is given in the table below

RMAT 2018 Exam Pattern in Details

RMAT 2018 will be administered by Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. The syllabus for Management Aptitude Test is based on English proficiency, General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning and Analysis.

RMAT 2018 aspirants should observe the exam pattern first and then begin to prepare for the exam. Here is an overview of RMAT 2018.

  • Type of questions: Objective based Multiple-choice questions.
  • Duration of exam: 150 minutes
  • Marking Scheme: No Negative marking scheme will be employed while evaluating the answers. Every correct answer will be given 1 mark.

  • Rajasthan Management Aptitude Test 2018 Subjects include Data Analysis and interpretation, English Language, General Awareness, Mathematical Ability and Reasoning and Aptitude.
  • Each of the subject carry 40 marks weightage rounding up the total of 200 marks.

English Language

RMAT 2018 Marking Scheme

The Marking Scheme for RMAT 2018 is explained in detail below

  • The nature of questions asked in RMAT 2018 is Objective based multiple-choice questions.
  • There will be four options presented from which only one will be the answer to the question asked.
  • The total number of questions will be 200 carrying one mark each. There is no negative marking scheme applicable in the evaluation.
  • Every correct answer will be allotted one mark. The duration of the exam is 150 minutes.
  • The time management will be a great challenge for the applicants since they will have to solve 200 objective questions in 150 minutes.
  • Solving MCQs and giving mock test will help prepare candidates for time management during the exam.

RMAT 2018 Instructions

Appearing candidates will have to mark their answers on OMR sheets which will be given at the time of examination.

There are few guidelines for filling OMR sheets that candidates should follow:

  • Applicants should read and follow the instructions given in the question booklet.
  • Only the OMR sheet should be handed over to the Invigilator before leaving the exam hall.
  • The answer bubbles should be filled in appropriately. Partially filled or marked bubbles will create issues with the optical checking system leading to loss of marks.
  • Rough work should be done only on the page provided in the question booklet.
  • No negative marking will be involved hence Candidates should attempt all the questions.
