OJEE 2017 Exam Dates, Registration, Eligibility & Result
OJEE is a state-level entrance exam conducted by state government of Odisha. The exam dates for OJEE 2017 will be released soon. The application process for OJEE is expected to begin in February 2017. OJEE is conducted for multiple UG and PG courses.
OJEE 2017 is an offline exam conducted in different sessions and slots for different courses. The exam consists of multiple choice questions in English language. The number of questions and syllabus varies for different courses. For every correct answer 4 marks are awarded while 1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer.
OJEE 2017 result is expected to be declared in May 2017. After the merit list is out, qualified candidates have to register for OJEE Counselling. The registration for OJEE counselling will begin by the end of June 2017.
Odisha Joint Entrance Examination or OJEE is conducted for admission to first year degree programs in Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Pharmacy, Planning, and Integrated MBA. OJEE is also conducted for lateral entry to engineering, pharmacy, and MCA programs and PG programs such as M.Tech., M.Arch., M.Pharma. etc.

OJEE 2017 Exam Dates
OJEE Registration is expected to begin from February 05, 2017. The OJEE Application Form must be submitted last by March 22 2017. OJEE 2017 is expected to be conducted on May 08, 2017.

OJEE 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for UG courses through OJEE 2017 have to satisfy the OJEE 2017 Eligibility as per the course applied. OJEE Eligibility Criteria for UG courses requires the candidates to pass the 10+2 examination of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent.
The educational qualification for PG courses through OJEE 2017 is a Bachelor’s Degree from any University of Odisha or from an AICTE approved Institute or from a recognized University as defined by UGC.
The minimum academic qualification for any lateral entry program is clearing a three year diploma from an AICTE approved Institute or from a recognized University as defined by UGC.
Candidates appearing for any of the qualifying examination in 2017 is also eligible to apply for OJEE 2017. Lower age limit for OJEE 2017 is 18 years and the upper age limit is 25 years.

How to Fill OJEE 2017 Application Form
OJEE 2017 Application Process is an online process. The OJEE Registration begins from February 05, 2017 and continues till March 22, 2017. The OJEE 2017 Application Form is different for each course.
The Application Process for OJEE 2017 involves four steps primarily - Registration and Form Filling, Uploading Images, Fee Payment and Submission. Candidates must have a valid email ID and mobile number before starting the registration process as all the official communication will be sent to the registered ID and mobile number.
Application Fee for OJEE 2017
Candidates have to remit the application fee in either online or offline mode. Candidates who apply for MBA/MCA/LE MCA and MBA + PGAT program (Form E) have to pay INR 1500. The application fee varies according to the course applied for. For other courses and form types, the application fee is INR 1000.
How to Apply for OJEE 2017
OJEE Application Process is a four step process. The first step is registration followed by uploading images, fee payment and submission. The steps to apply for OJEE 2017 is explained below:
Step 1: Registration
Visit the official website of OJEE 2017 and click on the link to register online. Choose the form type and enter personal and academic details asked. Note down the application number/registration number and create your own password. Complete the form and submit the details after verification.
NOTE: In case, candidate has made a mistake while filling the OJEE 2017 Application form, they can click on the “Reset” button and fill the details correctly before submitting the form again.
Step 2: Uploading Images
Next step os to upload photograph and signature by logging in using application ID and Password. Upload a scanned copy of recent passport sized photograph and signature in JPEG format.
- Candidate’s name must be mentioned on the photograph.
- Signature must be done on a white sheet of paper with blue or black ballpoint pen.
- Thumb impression must be clearly taken on a white sheet of paper.
Step 3: Fee Payment
The fee varies as per the course applied. The Application fee for OJEE 2017 can be paid either through online or offline mode. If you pay online, choose payment gateway and enter the required details correctly. If you choose offline mode, download e-challan and take a print out of it. Enter particulars and pay in cash at nearest SBI branch.
Step 4: Submission and Confirmation Page
Submit all the details and print the completely filled OJEE 2017 Application Form. Don't send the printed copy of OJEE 2017 Application Form.
Note: Contact the Odisha JEE cell for a clarification in case you are unable to print the confirmation page. No candidate is allowed to withdraw the application or candidature after submission of the OJEE 2017 Application Form. The address of the Odisha JEE Cell is indicated below.

How to Download OJEE 2017 Admit Card
OJEE 2017 Admit Card is expected to be available on the official wesbite from April 20, 2017 to April 25, 2017. It is a mandatory to be carried to OJEE Exam Centers as well as for OJEE Counselling. For discrepancies or non-receipt of OJEE Admit Card, candidate must contact Board latest till April 30, 2017.

OJEE 2017 Exam Centers
The OJEE 2017 Exam will be conducted across 30 exam cities in Orissa. Candidate can enter maximum 3 choices of OJEE Exam centers in the OJEE 2017 Application Form. The final decision on allotment of OJEE 2017 Exam Centers however rests with the exam conducting authority. The allocation or discretion or addition of any new OJEE Exam Center is done by conducting body of the exam.
OJEE 2017 Exam Pattern
OJEE 2017 is a pen and paper based examination to be conducted on May 8, 2017. The exam will be conducted in three different shifts and the allotment of shifts would be based on the type of courses opted by the candidate. The OJEE 2017 would be conducted in English language only. It is necessary for candidates to go through OJEE Exam Pattern carefully to identify the important sections and understand the scoring pattern. The total number of questions depend upon the course opted by the candidate.
A candidate has to appear in two exam slots of OJEE 2017, depending upon the courses. The exam sessions are divided into 1 hour and two hours session. All the questions in OJEE 2017 are in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) Format. All the questions carry four marks each while there is a negative marking of one mark for every incorrect response.

How to Check OJEE 2017 Result
The OJEE Result is expected to be declared by the first week of June, 2017. The result will be declared by the Joint Entrance Examination Cell, State Government of Odisha for various UG and PG programs offered by different Government and Private institutions of the state. OJEE 2017 Result and Rank Card will be available at the official website of OJEE 2017 only. Candidates can simply follow the steps indicated below to get access to their results and rank card.

OJEE 2017 Merit List
Odisha JEE Cell will publish separate OJEE 2017 Merit Lists for different courses based on the scores obtained by the candidates in OJEE 2017. There will be separate merit lists for successful candidates qualifying under each of the reserved categories. The OJEE 2017 Merit Lists for different courses is mentioned below.
- There will separate merit lists for UG programs like B. Pharm and BAMS/BHMS degree courses on the basis of marks secured in the relevant subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology) in OJEE 2017.
- Merit lists will be drawn up separately for Lateral entry admission scheme in engineering/technology and Pharmacy (LE in B. Tech. and LE in B. Pharm) on the basis of marks secured in their respective diploma tests.
- There will be a separate merit list for candidates of B.Sc. or +3 Sc. (a pass in Mathematics at 10+2 level is mandatory) streams applying for admission under lateral entry scheme to engineering / technology (LE in B. Tech) on the basis of marks scored in +3 Sc / B.Sc test.
- For MCA and MCA under Lateral Entry scheme, merit lists will be drawn up on the basis of marks scored by the candidate in MCA and MCA-LE test.
- There will be separate Merit Lists for MBA and Integrated MBA on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in MBA and Integrated MBA tests.
- Separate Merit lists will be drawn up for M. Tech, M. Pharm, M. Arch and M. Plan programs on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in their respective PGAT tests.

OJEE 2017 Cutoff
The OJEE 2017 Cutoff is the category wise closing ranks for admission to different courses to various colleges across Odisha. The Cutoff for OJEE 2017 will be based on a number of factors such as difficulty level of exam, last year cut off, number of students appearing in the exam.

OJEE 2017 Reservation
Reservation is provided for certain reserved categories through OJEE 2017. The OJEE 2017 Reservation Criteria is applicable for the following categories.
- Odisha State Category
- Green Card Holders
- Physically challenged or Persons with Disability
- Wards of Ex-servicemen native of Odisha
- Women Candidates
- Tuition Waiver Scheme
- Odiya speaking candidates residing outside Odisha

Candidates from reserved category must be aware of important guidelines for each category. During counselling, candidates claiming seats under reserved categories in OJEE 2017, have to produce certain set of documents in support of their claim.
OJEE 2017 Counselling
OJEE Counselling is scheduled after declaration of OJEE 2017 Result. It is an online process which involves four steps namely Registration. Choice Filling, Choice Locking and Document Verification. The registration for OJEE Counselling begins from June 23, 2017. The candidates must submit the choices and reach the allotted nodal center on the provided dates. The OJEE Seat Allotment is the succeeding step after OJEE Counselling.
