NPAT 2017 Application Process

NPAT (Narsee Monjee Program after twelfth) 2017 is exam conducted by the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management studies for joining the courses after class 12th.The NPAT exam is there for joining the graduate and post graduate programs .The students can apply after passing class 12th examination. It is necessary that there are no backlogs when you are applying. In case you are in class 12th then you can apply but in case a retest comes then your admission is cancelled.

There are following programs to which you can join:

  • Undergraduate Degree Programs :B.Tech , B.Sc Economics , B.Com(Hons) ,B.Sc Finance , BBA
  • Postgraduate Degree Programs :MBA(B.tech + MBA Tech) ,MBA Pharma Tech(B.Pharma + MBA)

Engineering & Technology ManagementThe application process is broadly given for four categories

  1. Pharmacy & technology Management
  2. Economics
  3. Commerce

The last date to complete the application process is May 3rd 2017.The date of exam is May 14-15, 2017.After the result is announced the seats to the courses will be filled on the basis of rank that the candidate has obtained in the exam. There is reservation of seats in each of the programs given on the basis of the rules laid down by the government.

There is separate application form for each of the courses that are given and different dates which are given .There is course wise detail that is given.

NPAT 2017 Eligibility

The eligibility details for NPAT engineering entrance exam is as follows:

  • The candidate must have done the 10+2 or equivalent examination including the IB diploma with English as one of the necessary subjects and with the science or a vocational course in science .The exam that is cleared or passed must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum of 50 % marks for selection in Mumbai campus & 45 % in the PCM for Shirpur campus.
  • Those candidates who have cleared Diploma Engineering with 50% marks are also eligible
  • Those candidates who have done or cleared the 12th class from an Open school must have a recognized degree only from National Institute of Open Schooling
  • The upper age limit for application is 25 years for NPAT-2017
  • Those candidates who are pursuing the class 12th exam can apply

NPAT 2017 Application Process

Additional Documents Needed During The Application Process For NPAT 2017

The additional documents are required in order to keep the application process smooth and running. The following documents are required while you are working with the application process:

  1. Scanned  copy of the passport size photograph JPEG format and the dimensions are 200 pixel(tall) x150 pixel(width)
  2. Scanned copy of the signature JPEG format and the dimensions are 200 pixel(tall) x150 pixel(width
  3. Your class 10th certificate for your Date of birth proof Class  10th and 12th Mark sheets
  4. Valid age proof like your driving license or Aadhar card

How To Apply for NPAT 2017?

There are many courses offered under NPAT -2017.There is a program related registration details which has only difference of the application fees. The application fee varies between Rs.1800-Rs.5000 depending upon the course you choose and the number of colleges you wish to apply in.

General registration steps are as follows:

  1. Log in to the official website : www.nmims.edu or www.npat.in
  2. On the top is the Tab which reads “Register now “
  3. When you click on the link it will take you to the webpage where the link reads https://www.digialm.com/EForms/configuredHtml/1288/3830/Registration.html
  4. It is advised to use IE 7 to 11 or Mozilla Firefox(14 to 43)
  5. You need to fill the following details :
  • Salutation- There are two Salutations Mr. for Male and Ms. for  Female
  • Name of the Applicant-This is to be same as  class 10th Board certificate
  • Father’s Name : This is to be same as class 10th Board certificate
  • Mother’s Name :This is to be same as class 10th Board certificate
  • Date of Birth: This is same as the class 10th board certificate and to be filled in the Date /Month/Year format. There is a small chart given next to this tab. On clicking on this chart the date will come up
  • Age has to be filled in round figures and not months. So fill your age as on April 1st 2017
  • Select the Gender details from the drop down provided .You select Male or Female gender
  • Enter your valid email address and you are asked to confirm it in the next tab .All the details will be communicated over the mail .So make sure you type the correct details.
  • Enter your functional present mobile number or mobile number of your parents.
  • In the next tab you are asked to confirm the mobile number
  • You have to give the authentic blood group details .So get your blood group tested before you work with the form.
  • Then you enter the “Captcha” code provided on the screen.

Once you complete all these details as asked you will get a User Id and a password that can be used for future reference. This password will come on your maid id or the Phone number. Use this password and ID to do the selection of the course and payment of the fees. Only after the fees is paid for the application and the colleges selected you are considered registered else not.

You need to tick on the declaration coming on the screen before you can login. Once you tick on the declaration then you enter your Registered Id and Password .It will ask you fill your course details and then the fees to be paid along with it .This has to be completed fully before the last date i.e. May 3rd 2017 .Else your candidature is cancelled.

Once you have submitted the fees and the signature then you need to supply a scanned copy of the passport size photograph with a white background and also your signature .This is required to generate the NPAT 2017 Admit Card.

How to Pay Application Fees for the NPAT 2017:

Once you have registered for the NPAT-2017 exam then you have to pay the application fee in online mode .The application fee payment will be done through the payment gateway:

Following 5 steps to be followed for the application process:

  1. Login with your created User Id and password
  2. Select the schools to which you wish to apply
  3. If you are final with your choices then select the option for payment
  4. Once you select online payment option then you will be directed to the payment gateway.
  5. The payment gateway will ask you to pay the fees and will display a successful transaction message.

The application fees depend upon the number of schools you are applying to .The details are as follows:

Guidelines for the Photograph to be Uploaded:

Once you have selected the institution to apply on and then you have given the fees asked .The system will ask you to supply the scanned image. This image will be coming on your Admit card .The instructions for the photo graph is as follows:

  1. The size of the photo should be maximum 500 MB size .The photo should be in JPEG format and the dimensions are 200 pixel(tall) x150 pixel(width)
  2. The background of the photo should be white or any light color
  3. The eyes must be clearly visible in the photo
  4. The photo must be passport size and need to have your shoulder top visible .The face needs to be in the center of the photo and must be clearly visible.
  5. The Photograph must not be more than 6 months old
  6. You do not need to have a cap or goggles on in the photo you are providing.

The application process fees in each course are detailed as follows:

Application Process for B.Tech. and MBA Tech. Programme :

The B.Tech program is for 4 years and M.B.A. tech is a 5 year program. The registration starts on March 10th 2017 and ends on May 3rd 2017.The admit card can be downloaded for the exam from May 9th 2017.

This involves the candidate to have cleared the class 12th examination with Physics , chemistry ,Mathematics and English .The application process involves the candidates to apply online at the website www.nmims.edu or www.npat.in .The fee of Rs.1800 is to be paid online .This fee is non - refundable. Candidates can apply to more than one program. The registration fee is multiplied for each school.

        Following Schools are available to apply through NPAT-2017:

  1. Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce – BBA Mumbai & Bengaluru campus / B.Com (Hons) Mumbai campus / B.Sc (Finance) Mumbai & Bengaluru campus
  2. Shobhaben Pratapbhai Patel School of Pharmacy & Tech. Management–MBA Pharma Tech.
  3. Sarla Anil Modi School of Economics- B.Sc. (Economics) Mumbai & Bengaluru campus
  4. Mukesh Patel School of Technology and Management engineering –B.tech/M.B.A.Tech

Application Process for Admission to MBA Pharma through NPAT 2017

There are different guidelines for admission to MBA pharma program. This is a 5 years integrated Bachelor’s in Pharmacy with Management degree along with it. There are only two colleges which are here to apply:

  1. Shobhaben Pratapbhai Patel School of Pharmacy & Tech. Management–MBA Pharma Tech.(60 seats)
  2. School of Pharmacy and Technology Management(40 seats)

The admit card can be downloaded on May 9th 2017 and the exam is on 14th and 15th May 2017.The rule for registration is that you need to pay an online registration fee of Rs.1800 for applying to one college and Rs.3000 for applying to two schools .

Application Process Details for Economics Courses through NPAT 2017: 

The candidate need to register online at the website www.nmims.edu or www.npat.in .This will show the prospectus for Economics course .On clicking on the download button the candidate will be asked to register for the course. The B.Sc. Economics course is only offered by Sarla Anil Modi School of Management .The registration has to be complete before May 3rd 2017.The exam is on 14thand 15th May 2017 .The exam requires you to pay an amount of Rs.1800 as the course is available in only Sarla Anil Modi school. There are two campus you need to apply only once in this course .Wherever the seat will be available it will be assigned.

Application Process Details for Admission to B.Com.(Hons) ,BBA, B.Sc. Finance through NPAT-2017 :

The number of seats in this course vary with the institute .The registration has to be complete before May 3rd 2017.The exam is on 14thand 15th May 2017.The following is the seat distribution in the area:

So if you apply to one college you pay RS.1800 as the application fees and if you apply to two colleges then you need to pay Rs.3000 as the Registration fees.

Application Status for NPAT 2017

In case you have submitted the application incomplete then you can complete the filling of the application form on or before May 3, 2017.If your application is incomplete you can login and complete the application form using the User Id and Password that is generated while the process of registration took place .

How to change details / edit NPAT-2017 application form?

There are no specific guidelines given on how to edit the application form .However there are a few common things you can do to edit the application on or before May 3, 2017.In case you have submitted any wrong information then you can edit the information in the online form before May 3, 2017 .In case your test center preferences have been given and you have supplied the fees then you are asked to check with the team for NPAT 2017 exam at the following details:

NPAT 2017 Admit Card

The details you have given on the admit card will make the basis for the information given in the NPAT 2017 Admit Card.The admit card can be downloaded from www.nmims.edu or www.npat.in

The admit card will contain following information:

  • Name of the candidate as on the Application form-2017
  • Date of Birth details as given on the application form -2017
  • Test center details
  • The name of the exam for which you have applied
  • Date of exam

You are required to carry the valid ID proof along with the admit card for 2017 .The id proof can be Voter ID/Passport/School or college ID/Aadhar card/Driving license /12th Admit card .

No candidate under any circumstances will get a printed admit card from the office .If you do not carry the card or  ID proof to the exam hall you would not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
