NID 2017 ADMIT CARD
NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
The NID 2017 admit card for M.Des. and B.Des. is available for download on the official website of NID. The admit card for studio test and interview for M. Design programme are made available on the website on February 29, 2017. The exam is 100 marks in which there are MCQ and Non MCQ questions about Color terminology, Visual Logic and Drawing Fundamentals. It is mandatory for the candidates to carry the admit to the exam center, else the candidate will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
National Institute of Design (NID) conducts a Design Aptitude Test (DAT) for admission to Bachelor of Design (B. Design), Master of Design (M. Design) and Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD at NID Vijayawada). Candidates will not be notified about the admit cards personally and the applicants will have to check the website regularly. The exam is scheduled on January 8, 2017. Check NID 2017 Exam Pattern
The candidates who submit the NID 2017 Application form before the last date can download the NID 2017 Admit Card. The NID 2017 Admit Card shall be available on different dates according to the NID 2017 exam stage. The NID 2017 Admit Card is an important document which must be downloaded and carried to the examination hall. If the candidate fails to procure the NID 2017 Admit Card on the day of the exam, he/she won’t be allowed to sit for the examination. While filling the NID 2017 Application Form, it is advised that the candidates fill every detail carefully. Candidates should not make any spelling mistakes as the information provided by them will be mentioned on the NID 2017 Admit Card.
If there are any mistakes in the NID 2017 Admit Card or for some reason the candidate’s NID 2017 Admit Card has not been generated, they must contact the NID 2017 Admission Cell immediately. The contact details are as follows:

There are no major documents to be carried along with the NID 2017 Admit Card. However, the candidates must keep the following documents during the Design Aptitude Test:
For the NID 2016 Studio Test and Interview the candidates will carry the following documents to the assigned centre:
Candidates will be allowed to select and mention the NID 2017 Exam Centre of their choice in the NID 2017 Application Form. But the final decision for allocation of the NID 2016 Exam Centre will be of NID 2016. It has the right add/remove any of the centres and allot a test centre that may not have been chosen by the candidate.
No application or request for changing the test centre will be entertained by NID 2017.
For candidates in the Overseas Category the Design Aptitude Test, Studio Test and Interview will be held in Ahmedabad only.

For the candidates appearing for B. Design, the Studio Test (Stage 2) and Interview (Stage 3) will be held in Ahmedabad. The Stage 2 and Stage 3 round of admissions will be held one after the other in the same centre on the same day.
The candidates of M. Design programme will have the Stage 2 and Stage 3 round of admissions one after the other in the same centre on the same day. The Stage 2 and Stage 3 rounds will be held in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Gandhinagar for separate disciplines. The Test Centres for Stage 2 and Stage 3 for candidates of M. Design are as follows:
