AP EAMCET Results 2018

AP EAMCET Results 2018 will be declared in May 2018 by JNTU, Kakinada. They will be available in the form of Merit list in PDF format. The list wil consist names of qualified candidates along with their ranks. The result for AP EAMCET 2018 exam can be checked by providing the roll number given on the hall ticket.

After the declaration of results, a merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored by candidates. As per the order of shortlisted names, candidates will have to appear for AP EAMCET Counselling 2018. Each course will have a different merit list. It is important to carry the important documents to the counselling venue.

JNTU has scheduled the exam in April 2018. The exam will be conducted on behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education). AP EAMCET 2018 exam is an abbreviation for Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Courses Entrance Test. 


How to Check AP EAMCET Results 2018?

Results of AP EAMCET 2018 will be available on the official website in May 2018. Candidates can check results by following the steps given below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of EAMCET.

Step 2: Check for the tab which reads “AP EAMCET 2018 results” or “Result”.

Step 3: Click on it, you will be redirected to a new page.

Step 4: Provide your hall ticket number and other information required.

Step 5: The result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 6: Download the result in PDF format and check your result.

AP EAMCET 2018 Merit List

AP EAMCET 2018 merit list will be formed on the basis of candidate’s performance in entrance exam. The cumulative score of the performance of the candidate in AP EAMCET and inter college exams will be used for forming the merit list. Merit list for each of the course will be different. The percentage marks in the entrance test and the inter-college exam will be used to prepare merit list. The list will be prepared for the following courses:

AP EAMCET 2018 Cut off

AP EAMCET 2018 cut off will be published on the official website for various streams. Candidates who will clear the minimum cut off will be invited for EAMCET 2018 counselling on the basis of AP EAMCET merit list. Cutoff will depend on the following factors:

  1. Difficulty level of the exam
  2. Number of test takers
  3. Number of registrations for the exam
  4. Total number of seats available
  5. Sectional score

Candidates who have not been able to meet the required cutoff will not be allowed to participate in counselling process. Candidates who will clear the minimum cut off will only appear for the admission process. AP EAMCET 2018 cut off for each of the institute and course will be different.​

 


AP EAMCET 2018 Counselling

AP EAMCET counselling will be done according to the merit list. For each of the course, counselling will be conducted independently. The process is expected to start in the second week of June 2018. Shortlisted candidates have to report at the venue in person. No reason whatsoever will be accepted for absence at the time of AP EAMCET 2018 counselling. Candidates have to deposit the token money to complete the admission process on the same day at the college. Candidates who fail to deposit the admission fee will not be considered eligible for admission.

In such cases, a candidate can appear for counselling in next round only. The rank will be considered but previous registration will be cancelled. Candidate will start afresh with the entire counselling process.

Documents required at the time of Counselling

AP EAMCET is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University on behalf of APSCHE for the admission into various professional courses offered by various universities and private colleges in Andhra Pradesh. AP EAMCET Counselling has been started. Following are documents required for the candidates who are participating in the AP EAMCET 2018 Counselling Process:

  1. All the original certificate must be brought at the counselling and 2 sets of Xerox copies of APEAMCET 2018 Rank Card and Hall Ticket.
  2. 6th to Inter Study Certificate
  3. Intermediate Memo of Marks-cum-Pass-Certificate
  4. Aadhar Card, Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority and also PH/CAP/NCC/Sports/Minority Certificate if applicable.
  5. Income Certificate issued after 01.01.2018
  6. Residence Certificate (in care the candidates does not have any institutionalized education there)
  7. Residence Certificate of either of the parents in Andhra Pradesh for a period of 10 years in case of non-local candidates.

Certificates to be produced by PH/CAP/NCC/Sports/Minority Candidates

  1. Candidates must be with 40% disability or more to be eligible.
  2. CAP Candidates will only include whose parent has a domicile of Andhra Pradesh.
  3. Anglo-Indian: a certificate issued by Tahsildar of their place of residence.
  4. Minorities must have a SSC TC containing their minority status or a certificate issued by their headmaster.
  5. Candidates applying under the NCC or the Sports must have a certificate from a competent authority.
  6. Candidates applying under PH Category must have a certificate issued by a competent medical authority.
  7. Candidate applying under CAP must produce a certificate issued by ZilaSainik Welfare Board (In case of ex-service man) ID card and discharge book for verification.

Fee to be paid in the Certificate Verification

The candidates who wish to participate in the counselling procedure of AP EAMCET will have to pay a certain amount as fee at the time of Certificate verification. If the candidates fail to do so, they will lose their right to claim their admission.

  1. Processing Fee of Rs. 1000/- for OC and OBC and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST
  2. The official website will also release the Tuition fee Particular and seats available under Convener Quota College-wise before the commencement of the Option Entry
  3. The fee reimbursement for eligible candidates is subject to guidelines is issued by the Government of AP from Time to time
