COMEDK UGET Syllabus for Physics

COMEDK UGET Syllabus for Physics is based on the chapters and topics studied by the candidates in their 12th standard boards or 10+2 higher secondary or 12 PUC.

COMEDK (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka) conducts the State Level Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) to offer admission to students to undergraduate courses in Medical, Engineering and Dental programs in the colleges of Karnataka.

  • All applicants must be aware of the syllabus in detail.
  • Questions for engineering entrance exam will be for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics only.

COMEDK UGET is usually conducted in the month of May every year across many cities in India. The scores of COMEDK UGET are accepted by more than 150 engineering colleges, 12 medical colleges and 25 dental colleges in the state of Karnataka. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are the three main subjects on which the candidates have to prepare for the entrance to get admission in engineering courses. COMEDK UGET EXAM PATTERN

COMEDK UGET Exam is an online computer based entrance test and will be held at centers across the country. The test is held keeping in mind the three test criteria: fair, transparent and non-exploitative so that only merit based admissions can take place through a single common entrance test followed by counseling.

  • The entrance test is based on Physics, Chemistry, Math/Biology and all questions are multiple choice objective questions.
  • For BE program, the subjects are Physics, Chemistry and Math, and for medical, the subjects are Physics, Chemistry and Biology, including English.
  • The duration of exam is 3 hours in which 2 hours given for Physics and Chemistry and 1 hour for Mathematics/ Biology.
  • There is no negative marking in COMEDK UGET Exam.
  • One mark is given for each correct answer.
  • Total marks in PCM is 180 and total marks in PCB is 240.
