STATE LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
COMEDK UGET is conducted for admissions in B.Tech and B.Arch admissions in Karnataka. It is a state level exam conducted by Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental of Karnataka (COMEDK). The application form will be available from 2nd week of February, 2018 on the official website.
The expected date of the commencement of the exam is in the 1st week of May, 2018. COMDEK UGET 2018 will be based on class 12th syllabus of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The test will be conducted in online mode for 3 hours. Candidates will have to answer 180 Objective type questions, each carrying 1 mark. No negative marking will be done.
Candidates who wish to sit for the exam must have passed class 12th with minimum 45% aggregate marks (B. Tech) or 50% aggregate marks (B. Arch.). The COMDEK UGET 2018 Admit Card will be available to download from the official website from the last week of April, 2018.
COMDEK UGET 2018 results can be expected to be out in the last week of May, 2018. Candidates must not that the registration for seat allotment will be done separately. Over 20,000 engineering seats will be offered through COMDEK.

Candidates are required to satisfy all the eligibility conditions before applying for COMDEK UGET 2018 exam. The eligibility criteria for both the courses varies, given below are the conditions which must be satisfied to appear for the exam:
Note: Candidates with diploma cannot are not eligible for COMEDK. Also there is no provision for lateral admissions.
COMDEK UGET Application Form 2018 is expected to be release in second week of January. Interested candidates must first go through the eligibility criteria and read all the instructions related to application process. The procedure to apply for COMDEK UGET 2018 has been given below:
Attach your passport size colour photograph and signatures according to the dimensions specified. Upload a proof of valid document indicating your Date of birth.
The application fee can be paid via online as well as offline mode. An amount of INR 1200 must be paid as COMDEK Application fee. If the candidate wants to choose online mode of payment, he/she can use credit card/debit card /net banking. In case of offline payment, candidates will have to pay the required fee at the nearest axis bank branch with the e-challan generated at the time of submission of application form.
On the basis of COMDEK UGET 2018, approximately 160 engineering colleges and 150 medical/dental colleges will provide admissions to the eligible candidates. Candidates who wish to take admission in B. Tech or B. Arch courses shall be shortlisted on the basis of COMDEK UGET 2018 score, while NEET score shall be valid for MBBS and BDS admissions.
COMDEK UGET 2018 will be conducted online for 3 hours. Candidates will have to save their answers on the computer screen. The test will comprise of 3 sections- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The other exam details are as follows:

The COMDEK UGET 2018 results will be announced in 2 phases. Candidates can obtain their score card in the first phase by visiting the official website in the last week of May, 2018. In the 2nd phase of the COMDEK UGET 2018 Results, candidates will be intimated of their ranks via a list of ranks which will be released online. It is expected that the ranks will be declared in the first week of June, 2018. Candidates can follow the steps given below to check their results for COMDEK UGET 2018:
Soon after the results are declared, a merit list will be prepared by the authorities. Candidates can post their queries in the time given after the merit list is released. Candidates can access the list by visiting the official website of COMDEK.
The candidates aspiring admission to MBBS and BDS shall note that their list will be prepared on the basis of the NEET score. The provisional list is expected to be out in August, 2018.
The seat allotment process will begin in July, 2018. Prior commencement of seat allotment, a live seat allotment is conducted. Candidates can check the availability of seats in it. For medical and dental seat allotment NEET score will be considered.
The COMDEK UGET 2018 cut off is the minimum required rank to be eligible for admission to various courses offered through COMDEK UGET 2018. Candidates must know that the cut off will be released by the authorities by analyzing the performance of the candidates, availability of seats and level of difficulty of the exam.
