STATE LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
COMEDK UGET 2017 Mathematics syllabus is based on chapters studied in class 12 CBSE/State Board. The exam will be conducted on May 14, 2017 by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental of Karnataka (COMEDK). It is conducted in online mode. The other sections covered in exam are Physics and Chemistry. Candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer. For every incorrect or unanswered question, no mark will be deducted.
COMEDK UGET 2017 will be conducted for 3 hours’ duration. Candidates will be required to save their answers on a computer screen. All the three sections will equally i.e., 60 questions will be asked from each subject. Therefore, total marks for COMEDK UGET 2018 exam will be 180. Candidates may find sample papers/model test papers on the official website to help them prepare better for the exam.
The exam will comprise of questions from 3 sections- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Questions from all these sections will be asked equally (60 questions from each section). Marking will be such that, each correct answer will be rewarded with +1 mark, no marks will be deducted if answer is incorrect.
COMEDK UGET 2017 Syllabus is primarily based on the concepts from Class 12 syllabus. Candidates must keep a check on the topics covered under COMEDK UGET syllabus.
Topics covered under Physics section are- Alternating Current, Oscillations, Heat and Thermodynamics, Current and Electricity, Units of Measurement, Electromagnetic Induction, Motion in one, two and three dimensions, Kinetic Energy, thermal and chemical effects of currents. Similarly, topics such as Transition of Metals, Bio-Molecules, Nuclear Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Polymers, Chemistry of Carbon Compounds, Organic Chemistry, Chemical Kinetics and chemistry in action are included in Chemistry section. COMEDK UGET 2017 Mathematics syllabus is based on the syllabus of 10+2 prescribed by the COMEDK. Candidate must practice all topics to get a grip of them. Syllabus for Mathematics consists of 8 major topics which dominate this section with most of the questions. The important units in Mathematics are Integral and Differential Calculus, Circles, Differential Equations, 3D Geometry, Circles and Probability. It is important to focus on these units particularly while preparing for the exam.
