MHCET MBA Year wise analysis

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test MAH CET was conducted in windows of two days, March 14 and 15, 2015 for admission into MBA/MMS program in B-schools of Maharashtra.  MAH CET for MBA is a computer based test comprising 200 questions from ten areas namely-  Analytical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Non Verbal Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency, Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Analytical Puzzle, Quantitative Comparison.

MH CET 2015 detailed analysis

Now we will provide the detailed topic wise analysis of MH CET-

• Quantitative Aptitude: Among 50 questions from this area, 20 questions have been reported to be from areas like Arithmetic and Geometry (including a couple of questions each from Probability and Algebra). The questions varied from easy to moderate in terms of difficulty.
• Logical Reasoning: This section constitutes almost half of the entire paper. The 30 questions were from Visual Reasoning, some of which have been reported to be difficult and time consuming. Four sets of 7 questions and each have been reported on Arrangements, of which two sets were more difficult than the others and could have been avoided to save time. The 5 questions on Series have also been reported to be slightly difficult. The remaining questions on Input/Output, Blood Relations, Coding/Decoding, Data Sufficiency, and Syllogisms have been reported to range from easy to moderate in terms of level of difficulty
• Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension: The passages have been reported to be difficult in nature followed by a 10 inference based questions. Spelling/Inappropriate usages, phrase replacement, Para Jumbles (six sentence type), Odd Sentence Para Jumble and Synonym/Antonym, all have been reported to have 5 questions each. 2 cloze passages with 5 blanks each also featured, 5 of these, all of which are reported to be easy. Critical Reasoning comprises the remaining 10 questions which are easy in level of difficulty.
