MH CET 2018 Admit Card

MH CET 2018 Admit Card will be released on the official website of Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra at http://www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in in the last week of April 2018. DTE Maharashtra releases admit cards for candidates who have successfully submitted their applications to appear for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for engineering and other courses.

The admit card will only be available in online mode and candidates are advised to keep a check on the website to stay updated. Candidates will need their application number and password to access the admit card online. It is mandatory for candidates to carry their admit cards and other relevant documents, such as a valid photo-id proof to the examination centre on the day of exam. Those candidates who fail to carry their admit cards will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

The admit card will include information such as:

  • Candidate’s Name
  • Roll Number
  • Photo
  • Signature
  • Examination Venue
  • Date

Please note that with the exception to the Important Dates (which is different for each exam), the below given details about MH CET 2018 Admit Card also apply to the following exams:

  • MHT CET 2018
  • MAH MBA CET 2018
  • MAH MCA CET 2018
  • MH CET LAW 2018

MH CET 2018 Important Dates

MHCET 2018/ MHT CET 2018 Admit Card will be available at the official website after closing of the application process. Candidates will be required to download the admit card from the official website. Below mentioned are important dates with respect to the MHCET 2018/ MHT CET 2018 exam. Please note that these are tentative dates.

How to Download MH CET 2018 Admit Card?

Once the University releases the admit card on its website, candidates will be able to download and print it.  Please note that admit card is an important document and must be presented at the exam center. In order to download MH CET 2018 Admit Card, candidates will be required to proceed with the following steps:

  1. Visit the official website at www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in.
  2. Click on the link stating Admit Card Download.
  3. Enter Application number, a validated password and a security code to verify the authentication.
  4. Before clicking ‘login’ button just re-check details you have entered.
  5. Click the ‘login’ button.
  6. MHCET 2018 Admit Card will appear on your computer screen.
  7. Download and print the document.

In case the candidate forgets the password, following steps must be performed in such cases:

  • Click on ‘forgot password’ tab in blue at the end of login page.
  • Answer the security question entered at the time of registration. The security question comprises of the application number, mother’s name and date of password.
  • Just reset the password and log in to continue.

Details on Admit Card

It is advisable that candidates cross-check all the details mentioned on the admit Card. The details mentioned on admit card is as follows:

  • Name of the candidate
  • Roll number
  • Venue or name of the examination center
  • Timings of the examination
  • Rules and regulations to be followed on exam day

Documents Required with Admit Card

Along with the admit card, candidates will also be required to carry several other documents with them on the day of the examination. Please note that if any of the candidates fails to produce any of the below mentioned documents, along with the admit card then she/he may not be allowed to appear for the examination.

Documents which are needed to be carried along with MHCET Admit Card are:

  • Authenticated photo identity evidence such as PAN card and Aadhar Card.
  • Print out copy of the Application Form
  • Print out copy of e-challan, which was drafted at the time of payment of application fee.

Discrepancy in Admit Card/ Hall Ticket

If a candidate notice any discrepancy in the admit card, he/she must contact the conducting authority of the examination. Discrepancy usually occurs if the candidate has entered a wrong detail or wrong spelling at the time of filling up application form or due to error of the server.

Exam Day Instructions

Candidates appearing for the MH CET 2018 exam must go through the below mentioned instructions carefully to avoid any disturbance and disqualification from the exam thereafter. These instructions are stated on the back of MH CET 2018 Admit Card and should be strictly followed by the candidate. The instructions stated on admit card is as follows:

  • Carry a hard copy of the admit card along with required documents. If any candidate fails to carry the same, he/she may be barred from appearing in exam.
  • Take an original photo identity proof of the candidate to verify aspirant’s authenticity.
  • Amongst the electronic gadgets, only analogue watches are permitted inside the exam venue.
  • Translucent black ball point pen, pencil and small erasers are the only components needed to be carried in the examination center.
  • Candidates are instructed not to wear any fashionable and full-sleeves clothes or fashionable shoes including heels. Half-sleeve clothes, Sandal and slippers are permitted.
  • Any type of mobile phones, iPads or any kind of tablets is not allowed inside the examination hall. Failing to maintain the stated conduct may be barred from the examination.
