STATE LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
KCET 2017 is better known as the Karnataka (CET) Combined Entrance Test. The exam will be conducted on May 4, 2017 and May 5, 2017. It is arranged by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for getting admission in a few undergraduate courses like MBBS/BDS, BUMS, BHYS, BAMS & BHMS, B.E./B. Tech, B. Arch, BSc. And B.Tech. in various specializations.

The KEA CET 2017 exam is going to be held for the admission process to a variety of courses offered by government and private institutes of Karnataka. There are few KCET 2017 important dates that the candidate will demand to know.

For participating in the selection process, the applicants will have to apply for the KCET 2017 Registration. For the alike, the candidates must fill and proffer the application form of the exam. The application forms are to be filled and presented via the online mode only and shall start from the month of January 2017. Candidates who will successfully register for the exam will be able to download the admit card from the official website of the authority. The KCET Admit Card 2017will be distributed from the third week of April 2017. The admit card will include details like Candidate’s name & Roll number, Exam date & Timing, Exam centre, etc.

The KCET Syllabus will be often based on the First and Second PUC syllabus guided by the Department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka State. Syllabus for architecture and engineering is consists of topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. While the syllabus for pharmacy students will include subjects - Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The language in which the exam is conducted is English. The exam will be conducted in offline mode. There is no on-line mode for the exam. The total duration is 80 minutes.
The test pattern will be a multiple-choice based test with subjects of Physics, and Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology. The test language is English. Physics has total 60 marks questions require to attend in 70 minutes, Mathematics has 60 questions to be finished in 70 minutes, Chemistry and Biology also have 60 marks questions finished in 70 minutes each.

The KCET Results for 2017 will be announced by the KEA in the last week of May 2017. Candidates can verify the result by visiting the official website of the authority. Candidates will be asked to enter their registration number on the official site to view outcomes. Candidates are recommended to take printouts of the result and keep it safe till the admission system.

The KCET Counselling will start from the second week of June 2017. Candidates will be requested for counselling process according to their performance in the entrance examination. Candidates will have to report for the document verification with the original documents as per the schedule announced by the authority. The seat allotment will be done based on the ranks secured by the candidates, filled choices and availability of seats. If the candidate will not be satisfied with the seat allotment, would be participated in other counselling rounds.
