NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
Gate notification got released, recently. GATE application process has started from September 1, 2017. Candidates can apply for the registration online. Further more, the registration process will go on till October 4. This year the exam will be organised by IIT Rorkee. Candidates can apply online to get themselves registered for GATE for the academic year 2017. GATE Normalised Score is also used by various Public Sector Undertakings for the purpose of shortlisting candidates for various job. GATE Score Card is valid for three years. This year, a new addition has taken place as GATE will also be held in other countries such as Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Nepal, Singapore and United Arab Emirates (UAE). Also, Gorakhpur has been added as centre for GATE 2017. GATE Results for will be announced on March 27, 2017.

Before applying for GATE Application process, an aspirant is advised to check GATE eligibility criteria to apply for the process. We will provide you with the details of eligibility criteria so that the candidates can cross check the required details accordingly.
Following is the basic eligibility criteria for students' reference:
1. Passed a Bachelor degree (4 years after 10+2, or 3 years after Diploma) in any stream, if you are in the final year of a bachelor’s degree, then also you stand eligible to apply for GATE.
2. Passed a Master’s degree programmes in any branch of Mathematics/Science/Statistics/Computers Applications or equivalent degree, if you are in the final year of such programmes, are also eligible. (Pre-Final year students are not eligible to write GATE).
This year GATE entrance exam will enable the candidates from different countries like Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Nepal, Singapore, Sri Lanka and United Arab Emirates to seek admissions to M.Tech or PhD courses in various IITs and IISc. GATE 2017 will be conducted in the mentioned countries for International applicants. International candidates are required to meet the following Eligibility Criteria for GATE 2017 for achieving success in filling the application form in a complete sense.

GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is an all India computer based examination that tests the comprehensive understanding of various UG subjects in the field of engineering and science. The exam is conducted by IISc and other IITs on behalf of the National Co-ordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, and Government of India.
