One needs to be essentially good at Higher Maths, as most of the MCA Entrance Tests comprise Maths, Statistics and know-how of Computers. Some institutes also have Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, Test of Reasoning and General Knowledge in their test syllabi.

Candidate should prepare a time table and allot time for each section. They can study mathematics from their 12th standard book or they can refer some other materials. As they will get objective type questions, they might get bemused if they do not comprehend the basics completely.

So, they can memorize all formulas and important points. The candidate has to practice all sums and it helps them to do the problems in short span of time. They can practice quantitative reasoning and logical reasoning from CAT or MAT books. The candidates will be able to find lots of information about computers by surfing the internet. They can also help themselves to their class 10+2 text books.
