NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
Application Process of IIMC Entrance Exam 2017 is almost the same every year for different courses. Following the same procedure this year, the dates for the entrance exam 2017 has been announced for the admission to postgraduate courses. Candidates can start applying for the exam from April 3, 2017 onwards. This process will continue till May 5, 2017.
All candidates who have finished with their graduation can apply for the IIMC. Interested candidates need to apply for the exam by filling the application form as per the guidelines either through the online or offline mode.

Candidates need to apply for IIMC within the dates given below. After the last date mentioned, no further registration will be entertained.

Note: All interested candidates are strongly advised to apply online well on time, without waiting for the last date for submission of application form.
Applicants should be a graduate in any discipline. Those candidates who are appearing for their final year examination are also eligible to apply for the Entrance exam of IIMC 2017.
The final semester students need to provide the provisional certificate from their college/university.
Before beginning the application process, candidates need to register first on the official website www.iimc.gov.in. The registration process is a must as it will create an unique id and password for the candidate that is to be saved by the him/her for future use.

After the registration, read the instructions carefully before filling the application form to know what all are required for completion.
Candidates now need to login with the id and password that was allotted to them for the further process of application.
The application form can be filled either in online mode or offline mode.
Details asked in the form will include:
Guardian detail: It will include the name of candidates parents and their profession.
Qualification detail: The candidate needs to add 10, 10+2, graduation details in this column, also post-graduation details, if any.
Course detail: Candidates need to add the post graduate course that they want to do in IIMC.
Work Experience: Applicant need to add the work experience details in this column like name of the company, designation, duties performed in that institution.

Note: The size of the photograph and signature should be between 10KB– 20KB with file type jpeg/jpg.
Once the whole form is filled, the candidate needs to click on the SUBMIT button. On clicking this button, you will be directed to the next page of payment after which the final submission will be done.

The application form for the candidates vary for General and other category students. The table below summarizes the required application fee:

In the offline mode, the candidates need to pay through Demand Draft. Details of Demand Draft (DD): The fee for IIMC entrance exam has to be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of “Registrar, IIMC, New Delhi”.
Candidates have to follow different syllabuses for Journalism and Advertising & Public Relations. Students will be assessed on the written exam with 85% weightage and a personal interview round/ group discussion carrying 15% weightage. Mentioned below, is the syllabus for both the streams in brief:
