NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research) MBBS Application form can be filled from March 27, 2017. The application process details have been announced on February 18, 2017. Candidates wish to apply for JIPMER can fill the application form from the official website. The last date to fill the application form is May 3, 2017. The entrance test is scheduled for June 4, 2017.
Candidates who have filled any incorrect information in the application form can visit the website and modify the form. However, candidates cannot edit any information given in the application form like choice of exam center, category, medium of paper, gender, identification etc.
The application fee for JIPMER General and OBC category is INR 1200 while it is INR 1000 for SC and ST category. Candidates can pay the fee online through net banking, debit card, credit card. They should note that the incomplete forms will be rejected.
JIPMER Application Form filling has 5 steps which include entering the candidate’s credentials, uploading signature and photo, submission of application form, fee payment and final applicant fees.
The entrance exam for JIPMER MBBS is scheduled for June 4, 2017. According to the eligibility criteria, candidates who complete 17 years of age on December 2017 are eligible for the entrance exam. Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with Biology, Chemistry and Physics. But, the admission will be subject to the fulfilment criteria laid down by the JIPMER conducting authority.

Candidates can check below steps on how to fill the JIPMER application form. In case applicant makes a mistake in the form application, their application will get rejected. Henceforth, no communication of the candidate will be entertained. The candidate can complete the form application in 5 different steps:
The first step is to enter the candidates details like name, correspondence address and educational qualification. A candidate has to enter details like full name, DOB, father’s name, mother’s name, nationality, gender, residential address as asked. After that the candidate has to enter 3 examination centres from the drop-down list. The final allotment of the examination will be allotted according to the first come first serve basis.
Candidate has to upload the signature and photo in the same font and size as asked. The placard should be used when taken the photo which shows the candidate’s name and the date the photo was taken. An improper photo will lead to the rejection of the form.
Details of the Photo
After completing the form, the candidate has submitted the application form. Before the candidate submits the form, he/she must preview the form and check for all the details. Once the form is submitted the candidate cannot edit or modify the form. When clicking on the final submission, the candidate should click on ‘I Agree’ tab.
The application fee can be payed online with net banking, credit card, and debit card. JIPMER offers only online mode of submitting the application fee. Once the payment is done, the candidate should print the successful payment receipt for future correspondence.
Once the payment and form submission gets done, the final applicant page will get generated. The candidates are advised to take printout of the page. The screen of the final applicant will have all the details provided by the candidate like personal details, examination choice, payment option and qualification.
The JIPMER Exam should be conducted in English language. The written test consists of 200 multiple choice questions. It comprises five sections such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Language and Reasoning. The question paper will be in the computer mode as it will be an online examination. There is no negative marking in the exam. The correct answer will receive 1 mark each.
Candidates can check the JIPMER through the official website of JIPMER 2017. The results will be provided on 19th June, 2017. The merit list will be prepared based on percentage and marks obtained. The merit list gets prepared separately as per the category. The candidates who does not get minimum marks will not be considered for the examination. The minimum percentage to be obtained for unreserved category (OCI, NRI) is 50, unreserved OPH is 45 and SC/ST/OBC/OPH is 40.
Candidates will have to go through the biometric finger print and image verification before the counselling process. The first counselling will be conducted on 27th till 30th June 2017. The candidate should carry original documents. Once the documents get verified, the candidate will undergo a medical exam. The candidate will get admitted in the course will be required to pay the cash immediately. The seats of the course get filled as per the qualification and performance in the examination.
