UPSC Recruitment 2017: 83 Vacancies of Skippers, Directors & Professors released at upsc.gov.in

UPSC (Union Public Service Commissions) posted its third advertisement for current recruitment session. The UPSC Recruitment 2017 invites applications for total of 83 vacancies. The vacancies posted are for Regional Director, Skipper, Assistant Professor Grade III (Clinical Hematology), Assistance Professor Grade III (Pathology) and Medical Officers.

Interested Applicants for UPSC Rcruitment 2017 can apply at upsc.gov.in from March 02, 017. Last date to appply for UPSC Recruitment is March 03, 2017. To apply for the verious posts under UPSC Recruitment 2017, Candidates have to pay INR 25 as Application fee. “No application fee” is payable for SC/ST/PH and Women candidates. UPSC Recruitment 2017 Eligibility Criteria

UPSC Recruitment 2017 Eligibility Criteria is depend on the post. Candidates are suggested before filling the UPSC Application Form, check the UPSC Eligibility.

  • Regional Director- For the post of Regional Director, candidates must have any one of these Degrees from a Government Approved Institute, given below:

M.Sc Degree in Microbiology

                      OR

M.Sc in Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology or Microbiology or Mycology from a recognized University

                     OR

M.Sc. in Agriculture with specialization in Soil Science or Agricultural Chemistry or Agronomy or Microbiology or Plant Pathology or Horticulture or Agricultural Extension from a recognized Institute.

Experience: For the post of Regional Director, Applicants need Ten years of experience in the field of research and development of bio-fertilizer and other aspects of organic farming with experience in quality control of bio fertilizers and organic fertilizers including two years administrative experience.

NOTE: If Applicants have Ph.d degree in any stream, will get preference at the time of selection process.

  • Skipper – Certificate of competency as second hand of fishing vessel issued by the Mercantile Marine Department of Government of India.

Experience: Minimum three years of experience on board mechanized vessel.

NOTE: Candidates will get preference at the time of UPSC Selection Process if they have Certificate of Skipper of fishing vessel issued by Mercantile Marine Department.

  • Assistance Professor Grade III (Clinical Hematology) – Applicants must have MBBS Degree in any stream by any Government Approved Institute.

Experience: Minimum Three years of teaching experience from any recognized university.

  • Assistance Professor Grade III (Pathology) – Candidates must have MBBS Degree in any stream from recognized university.

Experience: Three years of experience in the concerned Specialty or Super-specialty after obtaining the first Post Graduate Degree

  • Medical Officer- A recognized Medical qualification.

UPSC Recruitment 2017: How to Apply for verious course

UPSC Recruitment 2017 Registration will start from March 02, 2017. Interested Applicants can apply on the official website of UPSC Recruitment. Candidates can apply online only. There is not any other option for UPSC Registration. The UPSC Recruitment Application Fee is Rs. INR 25 only which is payed online only, “No Application Fee” for SC/ST/OBC and Women. The last date to apply is March 03, 2017.

Steps to Apply in UPSC

  1. Go to the official website of UPSC (Union Public Service Commissions) i.e. http://www.upsc.gov.in/
  2. Click on the link “Apply Online”
  3. Choose your post
  4. Fill “UPSC Application Form”
  5. Enter all the required Information like Name, Date of Birth, Contact number, Email ID, Education criteria, address etc.
  6. Upload the scan copy of required documents like birth certificate, qualifying certificates and other documents
  7. Pay UPSC Application Fee
  8. Click on the “submit button”
  9. Take the printout of successfully submission for future reference

NOTE: If applicants are belong to reserved category (SC/ST/OBC) must be submit their cast certificate.


UPSC Recruitment 2017: Selection Process

UPSC Recruitment 2017 Selection Process is based on written test and Personal Interview. Selection process is held by UPSC authority. After the declaration of UPSC Recruitment 2017 Result, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of final merit list, only shortlisted applicants will be eligible for UPSC Personal Interview round.

Candidates have to bring all the required documents (original and photo copy) in the Interview round for verification. All the information which is mentioned in UPSC Application Form must be correct, if there is any information will not be correct candidates will be disqualified at the same time.


UPSC Recruitment 2017 Pay Scale for verious posts

Regional Director - Rs. 15,600-39,100 (PB-3) + Rs. 7,600 (Grade Pay) + TA + HRA as admissible. General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted, No Ministerial.

Skipper - Rs. 9300-34800 + G.P. 4600/-(Pre-revised). General Central Service, Group-‘B ‘Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.

Assistance Professor Grade III (Clinical Hematology) - PB-3 i.e. Rs.15, 600-39,100 with Grade Pay Rs.6600/-(Pre-Revised) + NPA +TA and HRA as admissible. Central Health Service, Group ‘A’ Teaching Specialist Sub-cadre.

Assistance Professor Grade III (Pathology) - PB-3 i.e. Rs.15, 600-39,100 with Grade Pay Rs.6600/-(Pre-Revised) + NPA +TA and HRA as admissible. Central Health Service, Group ‘A’ Teaching Specialist Sub-cadre.

Medical Officer - Level-9, Rs 56,100-1,67800/- (Revised) (Pay Band-2) Rs 15,600- 39,100/- + GP -5400/- + NPA (Pre revised) + TA + HRA as admissible. General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
