UPSC 2017: ORA e-Admit Card for Statistical Investigator & Assistant Director Census Operations Released

Union Public Service Commission released E-Admit Card for Online Recruitment Application (ORA) on upsconline.nic.in. The Recruitment Test will be conducted for following two posts. The Admit Card can be downloaded from the official website using candidates’ enrollment number and Date of birth as password.

The Admit Card is a mandatory document and must be presented at the test venue along with a valid identity to support their identity.


How To Download Admit Card?

The Admit Card is available at the official website. Candidates are advised to obtain the admit card in hard copy at the earliest and must present it during all the stages of Recruitment processes. Following steps must be followed to download ORA e-Admit Card from upsconline.nic.in

  • Go to the Official website
  • Click on the link, “E-ADMIT CARDS FOR THE RECRUITMENT TESTS TO BE HELD ON 21th JANUARY, 2017”
  • Download Time Table & Instructions
  • Click on “Download Admit Card”
  • Read all the instructions carefully and continue
  • Select any one of the given option
  • Enter required details and proceed.
  • Download and save your Admit Card.
  • Obtain Hard copy for future purposes

Recruitment Test Details

The Combined recruitment test scheduled on January 21, 2017 from 0930 AM to 1130 AM will be conducted for

  • Recruitment to 17 Posts of Statistical Investigator (Grade-I) in the office of Registrar General of India, Ministry of Home Affairs and
  • Recruitment to 42 Posts of Assistant Director Census Operations (T) in the office of Registrar General of India, Ministry of Home Affairs.

The duration of Online Recruitment Test is two hours. However, the candidates are expected to report at the exam centre an hour prior to the commencement of test.

Details Mentioned on the Admit Card

Admit Card comprises details about the applicant and the test applied for. The details mentioned on the admit card is obtained from the information provided by the candidate during registration process. The following details are mentioned in the ORA e-Admit Card

  1. Candidate’s Name
  2. Father’s Name
  3. Date Of Birth
  4. Enrollment Number
  5. Test Venue
  6. Test Timings

Discrepancies in the Admit Card

As mentioned earlier, the details mentioned on the Admit card are provided by the candidates during registration process. Any deviation in the details mentioned on the Admit Card and actual data will result in cancellation of application. Any discrepancy or error in the admit card must be communicated with the concerned authorities. Candidates can each the authorities at the address mentioned below.
