CSIR UGC NET 2017 NEWS
NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
CSIR UGC NET (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research UGC NET) conducts National Eligibility Test for Lectureship and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) twice in a year i.e. in June and December. CSIR UGC NET is multiple choice objective type test and is conducted for 5 subjects viz. Atmospheric, Earth, Ocean, Planetary Sciences, Mathematics Science, Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Physical Sciences. Candidates can appear either for Lectureship program or for JRF only. CSIR UGC NET results will be declared in the month of June and a separate list of results will be published for JRF and Lectureship program.
CSIR UGC NET 2016 is going to be held on December 18, 2016. The list of registered candidates will be released on the November 15, 2016. The detailed CSIR UGC NET 2016 Important Dates are given below:

CSIR UGC NET paper have multiple choice questions of 200 marks and is divided into three parts A, B, and C. Part A is common to all and comprises of topics like Reasoning ability, General awareness, Numerical ability, etc. Part B has questions based on the concerned subject. Part C includes questions of higher weightage and are of analytical nature.
CSIR UGC NET conducts examination for the following subjects. Candidates may select the subject of their choice and will get the paper of the concerned subject only.
