NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE/OFFLINE TEST
The Staff Selection Commission will announce the result for tier 2 examination of SSC CHSL 2015 on or after January 02, 2017. The Exam was conducted on September 18, 2016. Final Merit list will be published post the result declaration. The final merit list will be based on the candidates’ performance in tier 1 (Computer Based Test), tier 2 (Descriptive Test), and tier 3 (Skill/Typing Test) exam.
The SSC CHSL examination is conducted by SSC to recruit candidates for the vacant posts of Data Entry Operator (DEO), Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, and Court Clerk. The selection is based on candidate’s performance in the three tier exam system. Candidate has to clear the cutoff for each level to move on to the next level.
SSC will announce the result on the official website. The successful candidates of tier 2 will be shortlisted for tier 3. The result will be available on ssc.nic.in under the results section. The mentioned steps should be followed to download the result.
The cutoff for CHSL tier 2 examination is set by SSC. Candidates have to score at least equal to the set cut off in order to be considered for qualifying to the next round. The CHSL LDC, DEO recruitment released an official notice mentioning the set cut off to be 33%.
The cut off for tier 2 examination according to the different categories is given below:

The selection process for SSC CHSL is divided into three steps. Before the candidates are recruited for the various positions, they have to clear each step of the 3 tier system.
The first step is to clear the SSC CHSL Tier 1 examination, which is a Computer Based Test.The Tier 2 is a Descriptive test which conducted as a qualifying test for the tier 3 exam. Tier 3 exam is a Skill Test/Typing Test. For each step of the 3 tier system, the candidates have to clear the minimum cutoff to move on to the next round.
The final selection of the candidates is based on the merit list generated on the basis of the their performances in the 3 tests. The candidates are required to get their original certificates for verification. The following are the certificates the candidates have to get verified:
The application process for SSC CHSL 2016 concluded on November 25, 2016. The tier 1 examination will be conducted on multiple dates starting form January 7 to February 5, 2017. SSC approved some age relaxations from this year. Initially, candidates who met the age criteria as on January 1 were deemed eligible for SSC CHSL exam.
