IBPS CLERK 2017 Exam Centers

IBPS Clerk 2017 will be conducted in online mode on December 2017. The duration of the exam is 1 hour in which 3 sections are covered –Reasoning Ability, English Language and Quantitative Ability. The exam centers alloted to the students is according to their choice which they filled while registering for the exam.

The examination center allotted to the candidate will be shown on the IBPS clerk Admit Card of the participant. IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) conducts IBPS Clerk CWE (Common Written Exam) to recruit candidates for various Clerical cadre positions in the public & Government banks and other financial organisations of India.

IBPS Registration can be completed from September 2017.The preliminary exam is to be held from November 26 to December 4, 2017.The candidates qualifying the preliminary exam will appear for the mains exam scheduled from December 31, 2017 to January 1, 2018.  


IBPS CLERK 2017 Exam Centers

IBPS 2017 has setup Exam centers in various cities across the country. Candidates are suggested to choose the closest exam center while filling the online application form. 

However, in case of unavailability of seats in the chosen exam center, the IBPS exam body retains the right to allot the exam centers other than the preferences given by the candidate.

The details of the allotted Examination center will be mentioned in the Admit Card of the candidate. The choice of the examination centers for preliminary and mains examination along with the center codes is tabulated below:

IBPS CLERK 2017 Exam Tips

Candidates appearing for IBPS Clerk 2017 can follow the tips mentioned below to perform better in the exam:

  1. The candidates should keep themselves up to date about the latest events so as to score good in the general awareness section.
  2. Revise everything you study in order to improve your weak points and enhance the areas where you can score better. Avoid practising new topics in last days before exam, rather focus on revision of topics studied.
  3. Quantitative Section needs a lot of practise, memorise formulae thoroughly.
  4. Time Management is an important factor, so candidates are advised to devote 10 minutes to English Section and 25 minutes each to Quantitative Section and Reasoning Ability Section.
  5. Practising IBPS Clerk Sample papers will help candidates understand the exam pattern and thus maintain a steady pace to complete the exam at the right time.
  6. Complete the questions in which you are sure and are your strong areas, then move to other questions. Also, concentrate on accuracy.
