NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
The final Result of IAS 2018 will be declared in April 2018. The IAS Result 2018 will contain the roll numbers of candidates who will be qualified for Interview. candidates can access the from the official website, to be downloaded as PDF file. Candidates who will secure the qualifying marks in the exam of IAS 2018 will be declared qualified for the Interview.
The IAS 2018 Scorecard of candidates who will not qualify the exam will be released within 15 days from the date of declaration of final result of IAS. The IAS 2018 Cutoff of the mains exam will be published after the recruitment process is complete.
The final result will be declared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the written exam and interview/personality test. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will declare the final IAS Result in April 2018.
The IAS Results are expected to be out in April 2018. Candidates will have to go to the official website to get results. The result will be available in PDF file format. The dates related to the declaration of IAS 2018 results have been tabulated below:

The Result of IAS 2018 will be declared in the following three stages.
Prelims is the first stage of selection. The candidates who qualify the Prelims are allowed to appear for the Mains exam. The result of IAS Prelims Exam will be declared in the month of October. The marks of this test are not counted in the final score, this is just a qualifying test.
Those who qualify in the IAS 2018 Prelims will sit for the next stage examination, i.e. IAS 2018 Mains. On the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the IAS Mains Exam 2018 they are called for the Interview. The result of which will be declared in the month of February 2018.
UPSC will declare the final result on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the IAS 2018 Mains Exam and Interview. The candidates who secure highest mark out of the aggregate marks will be declared topper of IAS Exam. The Personality Test/ Interview of IAS Exam 2017 is scheduled to be held in the month of March 2018. The Final Result of IAS is expected to be released in the month of April 2018.

Candidates need to login with the unique id and password that they received during registration to check the result. The mark sheet/scorecard of IAS 2018 will display the following details
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the Merit List of Civil Services Mains Examination in January 2018. All the candidates who appeared for the mains examination will have to log in using their Roll Number and Date of Birth or the unique id and password that was generated during registration. The IAS Merit List 2018 will consist of the marks obtained by candidates in all sections and the total aggregate marks secured by them in the mains exam.
Candidates can follow the steps given below to check and download the merit list of mains exam for IAS 2018.
UPSC will also announce the final IAS Cutoff along with the scorecard/merit list. Cutoff is the minimum score set by the conducting authority for all the candidates. Candidates who score equal or more marks as per the specified cutoff score will be declared as qualified. Candidates can check the expected cutoff for IAS 2018 as given below.

Final round after the prelims and the mains exam will be interview on the basis of which the final selection is done. The final merit list includes the marks of the mains exam and the interview, keeping in view of which the counseling is done.
Marks thus obtained by the candidates in the Main Examination (written part as well as interview) would determine their final ranking.
Candidate need to carry the important documents along with them to the venue for the counselling. The original documents must be carried along with one attested copy of each certificate.
