NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
State Bank Of India released notification for recruitment of Probationary Officers at their official website: sbi.co.in. The eligible candidates are invited to apply for the exam starting from Feb 07, 2017 and the last date to apply is March 06, 2017. The Preliminary Round of the three tier exam will be conducted on multiple dates in the month of April and May, 2017.
The Candidates are invited to register themselves for SBI PO well before the last date to avoid any hassle. The candidates qualifying in the preliminary exam will be shortlisted for the Mains level of the exam. The qualified candidates of Mains exam will be called for group discussion and Personal Interview. The Result of SBI PO (Preliminary) 2017 will be announced on May 17, 2017.

With a total of 2313 vacancies overall, State Bank of India invites applications from general candidates for 347, ST Candidates for 350 vacancies and OBC candidates for 606 vacancies. The Bank offers relaxation to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non Creamy Layer), PwD candidates, Ex Servicemen, Commissioned Officers including Emergency Commissioned Officers and others as mentioned in the table below.

The Application and Registration process of SBI PO Exam is to be carried out at their official website i.e. sbi.co.in. No Other mode of application will be accepted by State Bank Of India. The Application Fee for General candidates is INR 600 and Application Fee for candidates claiming reserved categories is INR 100. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to apply for the exam.
Post successful registration, SBI sends a confirmation email to the registered email ID and sms to the registered phone number.
The Application Fee of INR 600 for General Candidates and INR 100 for SC/ST/OBC candidates can be paid through debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking by providing information as asked on the screen. The transaction charges for online payment (if any) will be borne by the candidates.
Candidates must follow the mentioned guidelines for the test day to make the conduct of examination smooth. They should not furnish any false, tampered/ fabricated particulars and they should not suppress any material information while filling up the application form.
The Bank would be analyzing the responses of a candidate with other appeared candidates to detect patterns of similarity. On the basis of such an analysis, if it is found that the responses have been shared and scores obtained are not genuine / valid, the Bank reserves the right to cancel his/her candidature.
Mobile phones, pagers or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises where the examination/interview is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail cancellation of candidature and disciplinary action including ban from future examinations.
Candidates are advised not to bring any of the banned item including mobile phones/ pagers to the venue of the examination/interview. Candidates are not permitted to use or have in possession of calculators in examination premises.
