IBPS PO 2018 Admit Card

IBPS PO 2018 Admit Cards will be released in the month of October 2018. The admit card/call letter can be downloaded from the official website www.ibps.in till the day before the exam. The portal for downloading it will close on the day of the exam. Admit cards will be issued to only those candidates who have successfully registered for the exam within the stipulated time.

The application process for IBPS PO is set to start from the last week of July 2018. Candidates can apply for IBPS PO 2018 by filling the online application form and paying the requisite fees. Pre-exam Training will be held in the month of September 2018 across various cities in India.

The preliminary exam will be held in October 2018. Candidates who qualify this exam will be eligible for the IBPS PO (Phase 2) Main exam 2018. The results for IBPS PO 2018 will be declared in February 2019 after conducting the personal interview round.

Candidates are advised to go through the following highlights so no problem arises during the exam.

  • The IBPS PO Call letter can be downloaded in both English and Hindi.
  • All candidates must bring the admit card along with the original identity proof and a photocopy of it.
  • Students must go through the IBPS PO 2018 admit card carefully and report the authority incase of any mistakes in the written particulars.
  • The admit card must be produced whenever required. Entry to the exam centre without the admit card will not be granted.

The admit card issued to the candidate is subject to satisfying the eligibility criteria.

Dates for IBPS PO 2018 Admit Card

IBPS PO 2018 Admit Card/Call letter will be available from October 2018. It can be downloaded from the official website www.ibps.in . The aspirants will be notified by SMS and email about the availability of the admit cards by the IBPS authority. Students are advised to download the admit card as soon as possible to avoid any last-minute rush.


Steps to Download IBPS PO 2018 Admit Card

The admit card is a document which shows your candidature and assigned roll number. It will be available online only and will not be sent by post to any candidate. The admit card can be downloaded by following these few easy steps:

  • Log on to the official IBPS PO 2018 website. The URL of official website is www.ibps.in
  • Select the option ‘CWE PO/MT’ from the left side of the webpage
  • Next select the option ‘Common Written Examination for Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees 6
  • Click the first option ‘Click here to download Preliminary Online Examination Call Letter for CWE PO/ MT – VI.from the new page.
  • You will next reach the login page to download the admit card of IBPS PO 2018.
  • Select the medium of language of the call letter (English/Hindi). Enter your registration number, password or date of birth and the security pin given on the login credential page.

Admit card will open in a new window. Download it. At the top left corner of this page, you will see an option to print the call letter. Print it and save the soft copy.

After printing out the admit card, go through the details given in it and make sure that all the information is correct. Incase there are any mistakes that need to be rectified, contact the IBPS PO authority immediately. The general details given in the admit card is given below:

Discrepancy in Admit Card

If a candidate finds any discrepancy in the details given in the admit card, he/she can mail at ibpso@ibps.in within the stipulated time. The mail must contain the text of auto-generated email received at the time of registration or a scanned copy of the registered application. They can also contact the IBPS PO helpline if there is any mistake in the admit card or a problem in downloading it.


Documents Required on Exam Day

Candidates must bring their admit cards/call letter to the examination centre. They must also carry an original identity proof along with its photocopy. The original identity proof can be a PAN Card, Aadhaar card, Passport, Driving license, Bank Passbook, etc. Ration Card and E-Aadhaar Card will not be accepted as valid ID proof. Candidates cannot enter the exam hall without these documents.


Important Guidelines for Exam

Candidates must follow some instructions to ensure smooth running of the exam process.

  • The request for change of time, date or venue will not be entertained.
  • Re-check the Roll Number, Date of Examination, Time and Venue given in the call letter. Ensure that you have got the important details right and arrive at the venue well ahead of the reporting time.
  • Candidates must only take seats allocated to them according to their roll number. The candidature of any student violating this will be cancelled.
  • No baggage can be carried inside the IBPS PO examination centre.
  • Candidates must submit their call letter along with the photocopy of the identity proof duly stapled together to the invigilator. They must also write down their roll number and registration number on the photocopy.
  • Candidates are not allowed to carry any materials like pencil box, calculators and log tables, electronic watches with facilities of calculator, bits of paper, Bluetooth devices, pagers or mobile phones.
  • A plain sheet will be provided to the candidates for rough work at the examination centre.
  • Biometric data will be captured at the examination venue. Candidates must ensure their finger is not coated with ink, henna, colour, etc. and is clean and dry for the impression.
  • Candidate must ensure that the signature appended by him in the call letter and attendance sheet is similar to that uploaded on the application form. This signature should be used in the future in all correspondence with the IBPS PO.
  • The candidates can approach the Invigilator in the room for any technical assistance, health related emergency or any information during the exam.
  • The candidates can approach the Centre Superintendent/Invigilator in the room for any technical assistance, first aid emergency or any information during the exam.

Candidates found guilty of using unfair means, impersonating, misbehaving in the examination hall, disclosing, publishing or storing of contents of the exam will be debarred from the exam and strict action will be taken against them.
