IBPS PO 2016 Cut Off

IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) conducts a CWE (common written examination) for PO vacancies in 20 Public Sector Banks. IBPS PO exam was conducted on November 20, 2016. And the IBPS PO Result was recently declared on December 8, 2016. The IBPS PO 2016 cut off for Mains exam will be announced soon.

IBPS PO Cut off are the minimum marks that must be obtained by the candidates to get qualified for the IBPS PO Interview. The sectional and overall cut offs are determined by normalizing the cut off score. Sectional cut off is the minimum score in a particular section. How to calculate IBPS PO 2016 Mains Cut off Score?

Mains Exam is the second level that a candidate needs to clear so as to move to the final step i.e. Personal Interview. The weightage (ratio) of IBPS PO 2016 mains exam and interview will be 80:20 respectively.

  • Number of questions answered correctly by a candidate in each section is considered for arriving at the corrected score after applying penalty for wrong answers
  • The corrected scores obtained by a candidate are made equivalent to take care of the minor difference in difficulty level, if any, in each of the objective tests held in different sessions to arrive at the Equated Scores
  • Equated Scores is a score obtained by candidates on any test are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of scores of all the forms
  • The final IBPS PO 2016 scores in each test will be rounded off to up to two digits after the decimal point
  • Marks of written test will be normalised to 100 from total marks 200

Total Score in IBPS PO 2016 for allotment = Score obtained in IBPS PO Mains (English language + Quantitative aptitude + Reasoning ability + General awareness + Computer Knowledge) +Marks secured in IBPS PO Interview
