TRIPURA JEE 2018 Exam Pattern

TRIPURA JEE 2018 exam is conducted in the month of April 2018. This examination is conducted every year to select candidates for admission in various courses.

  • The entrance examination is held through offline mode only i.e. it is a pen paper based examination.
  • Tripura JEE is comprised of Multiple Choice Questions which are asked from the subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
  • Candidates can appear for a minimum number of three subjects and maximum number of subjects is four.
  • TRIPURA JEE 2018 syllabus includes class XI and XII topics.
  • Applicants must go through the detailed syllabus before starting the exam preparation.
  • Students are free to attempt all the questions because there is no negative marking.
  • Question paper of each subject will be of 100 marks and the total number of papers is 4.
  • The time duration to complete the examination is 2 hours. The exam is divided into three different groups i.e. Group A, B and C depending on the chosen subjects.

Tripura JEE 2018 Exam Pattern in Detail

Exam Pattern is a blueprint of exam and question paper of Tripura Joint Entrance Examination 2018. This pattern is set by Tripura Board of JEE. The examination pattern tells about the number of questions, type of questions, marking scheme, examination duration etc. Students most know about the examination pattern before start preparing for the exam.

  • Students will be given OMR sheet to mark the answers. The mode of entrance examination is offline.
  • The questions are multiple choices based on the latest syllabus of TJEE 2018
  • Each question will have 4-5 options and each subject will weigh 100 marks.

Marking Scheme

According to the marking scheme of TJEE 2018, students can attempt all the questions because there is no negative marking for wrong answers. For every correct answer, 2 marks will be awarded to candidates. No marks will be given or deducted for un-attempted questions.

Tripura JEE 2018 Syllabus

Every candidate can check or download the examination syllabus of Tripura JEE 2018 from the official website of Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination. Students must go through each and every topic of the syllabus. The questions in the paper are asked from the XI and XII subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Students have to select any three subjects for the paper and the paper is divided into three groups i.e. Group A, B and C.

For Technical degree courses, candidates have to appear in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics i.e. (Group A) while, Veterinary or Agriculture courses, candidates have to appear for Physics, Chemistry and Biology i.e. (Group B). On the other hand, Group C candidates will have to appear for all the 4 subjects.

Important Instructions

  • Students must bring the Admit card of TJEE 2018 at the time of entrance examination
  • Candidates are only allowed to use Black/ Blue ball point pen for answer the questions in the OMR sheet
  • Applicants are advised to carefully fill their Enrolment Number, Question Booklet series and Subject names
  • Students are advised not to mark more than one response for the same question
  • Candidates are not allowed to do any rough work on OMR sheet
  • Students must reach the examination centre before time
