NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST

Common Law Admission Test is a national level entrance exam conducted to admit eligible candidates to various National Law Universities across the country. **CLAT** exam includes English, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Elementary Mathematics, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning.

Elementary Mathematics section consists of 20 questions of 1 mark each. There will be negative marking, 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Candidates may note that this section is based on the mathematical concepts of class 10. Candidates can have access to sample papers and mock tests along with various online resources here.

CLAT Syllabus for Numerical Ability will be based on the fundamentals of mathematics from class 10. Candidates with clear understanding of concepts of all the topics will easily attempt this section and fetch decent score. Following is the list of topics which will be covered in CLAT exam:

CLAT is conducted in an online mode i.e. Computer Based Test. There will be 20 questions from Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability) in CLAT exam. The weightage of this section is least i.e. 10%, as compared to other sections.

The questions will be of Objective Type Multiple Choice. Candidates will have to select one of the four options given, to mark the correct answer. As the level of questions are elementary, candidates can easily answer 15 to 18 questions easily.

Candidate will be awarded with 1 mark for every correct answer. Negative marking of 0.25 marks will be done in case of wrong answers. The questions will be based on fundamental mathematics concepts.

One of the most scoring sections in CLAT Exam is Numerical Ability or Elementary Mathematics. The section will deal with Mathematics of class 10 level. If candidates possess good understanding of the concepts, he/she will easily score well in CLAT Elementary Mathematics section.
