NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
The Rajasthan State Medical Council will fill 85% state quota seats in MBBS/BDS program on the basis of NEET 2017 scores in various medical/ dental colleges of Rajasthan, for the academic session 2017-18. Once the scores are out, the NEET 2017 Rajasthan State Merit List will be released containing the names of all the qualified candidates.
All admissions to medical/ dental courses will be done through NEET. The State of Rajasthan shall no more be holding its independent medical exam i.e. Rajasthan Pre-Medical Test (RPMT). The Medical Education Department, Government of Rajasthan, has released an official notification stating a capacity of 1138 MBBS and 85 BDS seats in 9 government medical and 2 dental colleges in Rajasthan.
This year, the NEET 2017 will be conducted by the CBSE on May 07, 2017. While 15% of the total seats are available under the All India Quota, the rest 85% are reserved to be filled through the NEET 2017 Rajasthan State Counselling. The result for the NEET 2017 will be declared on June 8, 2017. On the basis of the candidates’ NEET scores, a merit list will be prepared containing the number of seats available for allotment in the State’s MBBS/BDS courses.
The NEET Counselling is most likely to be held in August 2017. Candidates are required to satisfy the NEET eligibility criteria to be able to participate in the NEET 2017 Rajasthan State Counselling.

To be able to participate in the NEET 2017 Rajasthan State Counselling, candidates will be required to fill a counselling form. The NEET 2017 Rajasthan State Counselling Form will be available in the online mode from August 26 onwards. During this time, candidates can enter their choices of medical/ dental colleges. The NEET Seat Allotment will be done on the basis of the candidate’s choice of college. The result of the first round of allotments will be published on September 5, 2017.
Candidates participating in NEET 2017 Rajasthan State Counselling will be required to pay a non-refundable counselling fee of INR 2000 (INR 1200/- for SC, ST category candidate of Rajasthan state domicile) + e-mitra service charges (as applicable) at any e-Mitra/ CSC kiosk center authorized by the Government of Rajasthan or using http://emitra.gov.in/ (through Internet Explorer only).
The seat allotment process for NEET 2017 Rajasthan State Counselling will be held in online mode. Candidates who successfully qualify NEET 2017 and are a domicile of Rajasthan, can participate in NEET 2017 Rajasthan State Seat Allotment. The NEET 2017 Rajasthan Merit List will be prepared in accordance with the minimum percentile obtained in the NEET 2016 in all categories (as per RUHS ordinance and MCI guidelines) and the order of choices/ options entered by the candidates in the online form.
The following documents will be required at the time of the document verification process:
15% of seats in government colleges will be reserved for MBBS/BDS courses under the NEET 2017 Rajasthan State Counselling. They will be filled on an All- India basis by the DGHS. Out of the total 24 seats, 4 in each State Medical College of Rajasthan for MBBS courses will be reserved for candidates selected under the government pool.

There are 16 medical colleges and 16 dental colleges that fall within the purview of the NEET 2017 Rajasthan State Counselling. Seat details from MCI and DCI show that there are 2600 MBBS seats and 1350 BDS seats on offer.
